did some lollipopping on the mothers in flower... they are looking awesome! I just cant help but notice once i get in dwc im a lot better off... So these our the mothers that were in coco in the flood table that got root rot... I havent even got the biowar in there yet.. It came today but i dont get the worm castings or the molasses till tomm so tomm night wish we get to cooking :) I couldnt say that word for 10 yrs lmao....

And my clones that aint so little anymore. If you look close you can see i supercropped them down to the next level of shoots,,, I have really got the tops now.. oh ya, did it last night and all of them are already pointing back up.. Supercropping and topping is my fav... I like scrogging but i fuck with my plants too much... Anyway the last pic is what they looked like befor i supercropped, and the rest our tonight...

oh and i defol them big fans... I almost removed them all, but decided to go little easy... Dude from grow weed easy says he pulls fans when they reach 2 weeks old... up intil somewhere in flower,, week 2 or 3 or something ... i will have to go watch it again.. I know there is controversy over doing it,, but im a soldier,, troops die in battle , and so may a plant as i push further into the unknown....And my clones that aint so little anymore. Wish i think i remember you removing all the fan leaves on a plant about 4 or 5 nodes high, might have been a clone. Can really remember much defol from you in flower however, or at least i dont think you mentioned any...

You haven't noticed my defoliation last couple rounds?
With all those photos in my thread as evidence?
My past round I defoliated 1 week after flip. All fans but left the top 3 on each cola, and the lowest ones below any budsites.
And here they are b4 harvest.
I also did it the round b4 that but I'm lazy. You guys can mine for that stuff lol.

but i cant tell that you actually gained anything by doing other than maybe your lower buds are more developed. Myself i will lollipop anything under 18 inches, because my goal is big fat top colas.. Because i got arthritis and i cant trim that lil popcorn shit, i need big ole donkey dick colas.. you just hang them for 14 days till they are good crispy, then grab on that thing,, like you know,, and shuck it a few times, and now its trimmed, put it in the jar for the cure :)You haven't noticed my defoliation last couple rounds?

You can tell by the %21, %24, %28 oil yields I extracted off the 3 different phenotypes :)

I just call resin oil lol. Or trichome heads.
The buds produce more resin from higher light exposure. The buds down low were super frosty identical to the tops.

i thought that is what you meant but i wanted to make sure i understood,,, and yes i believe that you did get better more developed lower buds because of this... I need to read the study where it says that because i want to understand the process the plant is going thru when that happens... Maybe its just that you are stressing the plant, and her defense is to produce more resin at the glands to protect her,,,, I also think removing the fans might signal lower branches to rise because a defense mechanism..I just call resin oil lol. Or trichome heads.

Take the beast clone for example. All the lower sites were wide open for light and they all exploded into new tops. I made sure any fan leaves shading were removed to maximize the flowers.
Now she is all tops.
Same concept with defoliation. Your making the lowers able to photosynthesize more, creating more food to grow larger.

I meant in general...I met a guy at the hydro store the other day and he showed me his COB light he had in his pocket. I've been so focused on the the new DE technologies that I haven't paid much attention to the LED guys that are doing well.

I meant in general...I met a guy at the hydro store the other day and he showed me his COB light he had in his pocket. I've been so focused on the the new DE technologies that I haven't paid much attention to the LED guys that are doing well.
Oh definitely!
I've been wanting to build a 4 cob light for my 2x2 tent.
The only drawback is that the fixture distance for cobs are too high for my small tent.
