I gotta tell ya.
Those trained gals look great.

I'm just worried running hydro your gals will explode consuming the grow space lol.

I run soil (slow) so I need my beast xl in veg to get where I want in flower (gotta say my beast now to differentiate between mine and yours lol) . The beast so far stretched "3.5 in the last 7 days of flower. Yours being a similar size in veg would be insane.

While I haven't used hydro. I've seen plants get out of control fast from explosive growth in flower.

It can be difficult trying to tame a beast :)

That's exactly why I don't lst anymore. With the autos I tuck a Lil and squeeze the stem but nothing else.
In hydro you really just top, and lollipop. Supercrop if they get to big.

Also, no. You have a beast. I have a learning process that's turning out better than I thought based on how bad i treated them early on. Still have a long ride my man. But thanks for the kind words dude. It really is appreciated. Like you, i really care about this man.

I love the way you phrased that all.
Especially this part

Since I'm not a hydro guy I can't give you a definite answer on flip. But what I've seen in hydro your way past the mark. And I mean that in a positive "man that plant will be ridiculous" kind of way.

You have side room so if they stretch too much in flower start tying them down to grow out sideways . Then once out of side room let them blow up upwards.

Your net will fill completely in flower I feel.

Here is an example of a thread here.
Where a dude flipped his hydro gals here.

And in some of his last pics b4 harvest here they were.

Now just imagine how much bigger your 2 plants are at start of flower compared to his. Then lol your ass off.

In soil I'd wait a few days after defoliation. In hydro they probably bounce back much faster.

If your looking to supplement lighting.
Really you can place them anywhere you want to grow nice buds.

For example from the bottom pointing up would give the under canopy vegetation chance to grow in.

If you put them on the sides of the plant the sides will fatten up.

Placed up top the canopy would receive the majority.

Any way you choose is helpful.

I would keep an eye on them and just add a light in the places you think it needs. I like putting mine on places that have shadows from the angle the hps hits the canopy.

I'm sure you'll find what works best for your specific environment for things to progress well.

This is an art, express yourself :)

@rmoltis I just read your wonderfully crafted response with a more diligent eye. What an eloquent and beautiful way you have with words, whilst managing to impart brilliant knowledge eagerly and appreciatedly consumed by yours truly. I felt it deserved slightly more of a compliment than a mere like. It is much appreciated my good man, and fun to banter, even dance, linguistically. For what it's worth, I have zero idea how to use commas correctly, I am aware of that and I am ok with it,

Some quick updates, would love any input guidance on transitioning to flower. What are the best practices. What do you do. Etc.

I pruned heavily two days ago and by time I got near the end of the plant on the right I was Tired and sore and kind of started rushing and ripping. Not good, I know. So given that here are pics from tonight
