Ok. Ok. You don't have to be such a douche. I'll try itthe smell is def signs of root pathogen
the roots should smell loke a peeled potato
a little earthy
when you see slime
and foam
and stank
you might want to get out the vinegar and baster
but really
try something like hydroguard
or uc roots
not bleach and not h2o2
ah yes. That's not a smell you'd be looking to get from those clean nutrients you use. I'm almost positive she's got a pathogen. Must be from the lack of O2. Only way to fix that is more O2. You got this!Yeah weirdly I noticed like this almost fishy smell a couple days ago. And the Rez was foamy. Foolishly ignored it. And bendy did have a faint smell down under. Not like head for zee hills but a slight odor. I'm just wondering given my pH and temps are on point what would cause that.
Making sure we're on the same page - douching involves vinegar. I think.Ok. Ok. You don't have to be such a douche. I'll try it
I have had excellent results with hydrogaurd. The only reason I didn't use it in the system was water Temps were staying in a great place and I only had a little left and I put it in the cloner since I can't control water Temps there... plus warmer root Temps in cloner seem to be a good thing...the smell is def signs of root pathogen

@Wisher619 I'm nor exactly what the hell it is.. but I think your close. ..Isn't hydroguard like benny bacteria ? Or am I way off.
Good friends! And never even met! Maybe all Americans should join thcfarmer. . We could all come together as farmers united against big Pharma.Dude fuck yes. You were there from the beginning bro. I'll never forget your help :D

United we pot farmers stand, divided we fall...
Too much 02 with htdrogaurd can cause foam in the res. Or I should say from air stones. Now waterfall probably wouldn't cause that no matter how much 02 in put in the water...Those products should help but I will say this. They won't do jack if you don't up the O2
I see. Have not used hydro guard myself. What i meant though was the dissolved oxygen levels but that's a great point in that adding more air stones with that product would not be good. Waterfalls are great at achieving dissolved oxygen too.Too much 02 with htdrogaurd can cause foam in the res. Or I should say from air stones.
