Recommended hanging height for spiderfarmers se3000???

Gentleman, I have 2 of the Spider Farmer SE3000’s and a Apogee MQ610 PAR meter.

If you would like me to take measurements with one or both lights to help determine the approximate ppfd at the canopy, I can help.

Just for example, right now I am running both SE3000’s daisy chained together at 6 inches over the canopy at 40% gives me an even 800-850 ppfd across the top of my canopy. I’m primarily running 50/50 indica/sativa hybrids and above 900 ppfd they begin to show stress from the light intensity.

great info. im still learning to play with intenaity and height to find sweet spots. it may come down to having only the 3000 unless i can figureout a way to drop temps cause the shot right up with both lights

Thanks guys for the input. Ya I had em way too close for my temperature here. I'm gonna have to get a better ac for the window. Actually been keeping them at 80% at about 12". Some days are hotter than others but I when it gets real hot the leaf edges kinda taco. My environment isn't right. Probably shouldn't have started flowering in the middle of summer huh..

Ya know, I think that's a big reason for my high Temps. I have 2 fc e3000s, a ts 1000, a fc e3000, and running those all the Temps were OK still below 80. I added a 400 watt jps wing reflector to the room and temps went up about 8°. But it's hard to tell when it's 100° out.

I'd really like to see good results off of this one I just fried a planlarge. The leaves turned yellow and the buds pretty much turned to larf. I'm running nectar for the gods entire line along with a bunch of teas and microbes so I'm dumping a lot of money into nutrients. Hundreds so far this grow and Counting. Plus a $200 light bill. I got to figure these lights out.

These plants are doing really nicely and behaving for you so far the buds look like they will be killer. Speaking of killer my grow room bill is about 100 per month and it is great therapy and builds teams. I read that you reduce the light percentage in the last two weeks 15 minutes at a time until 11/13 then darkness time. Ice buckets for the final watering but make the ice yourself and ph the water first. Some people will help you on the lights, doing great Schnikelmeister.

I hear you, I've the 2 se 3000 + a 1000w hps in the same room as our hot water tank - 2 input fans 2 exhaust 2 small fans in my tent and 3 stand up osculating fans on my other plants and another added yesterday blowing air out of my flower room with the doors open + a large dehue all my equipment adds heat I have to exhaust but there's no where to draw in cool air when it's 90F at 100% H outside

A perfect world I wouldn't be flowering now but do to unforeseen circumstances I fked a grow up and lost it so I got behind by 5 -6 weeks.

Okay so I now need an air conditioner........it just never ends there's always something to get

so i made adjustments to my fans to try and move air around. i have my tsl 2000 in front at 50% and my new sp3000 over my the back 3 (more centered over whole tent). The back plants are a week older and FROSTY AS FUCK and im running the 3000 at 75%. i dropped my ac unit to 66 on outside air and i have gotten canopy temps at 80 to 82.
I played with lights and heights all night and went to bed feeling comfortable. woke up and my feont 3 plants leaves are becoming discolored. Im still learning light burn and nutrient burn or deficiency.

ve any imput about my light heights, intensities and lef discoloration this mor ing. Thanks as always

So I was just up at the grow store bullshitting with the guys up there, we were talking about how these new Led's will flower plants quicker than normal. So I've been looking at my one Bruce Banger plant and seedsman says it's a 9 to 10 week plant but upon inspecting the trichomes and the hairs it looks like it may only have a couple weeks left at the most and I'm only on day 33 of flower. On the other hand I have a white widow fast plant under a HPS it's supposed to be a six or seven week plant and doesn't even look close to done it's also on day 33 of flower. What do you guys think do LEDs flower your plants faster than HIDs or outside ? I feel like the seed company bases there flowering times off of outdoor growth.
Here's an example of the Bruce banger that should have five or six weeks to go.

i too was there on a gelato grow. i literally was forced to go seed to harvest (auto) in 60 days as well as a dubran poison. Im even wondering about my currwnt runtz. i jear it can be up to 11 weeks. my back 3 plants are in week 7 and killing it, frosty, and trichomea are all cloudy. plant just doeant look mature enough. I may be going back to college just to leaen how to grow. damn weed plant lol. shit is a science foe sure, but a science i am hooked on

Week 5 flower on purple cake a 10 to 11 week plant.

Also week 5 on purple crunch a 10 to 11 week plant.

a lot of money and a lot of work most of all I just really enjoy everything about this plant so definitely gotta dial it in so these buds swell and stay dense Also not fry my trichomes and pistils. I've noticed that flowering in too high of temperatures will turn even the big Dense buds into larf. Also drying and curing In warmer Temps do that too. I just did every single one of those things to a practice plant and turned about a half a pound of bud into fried ass larf lmfao.

Got to watch too too much exhaust and too many fans will dry everything out. Fabric pots, soil, windburn and tacoing leaves. With fans blowing on your plants really heavy they respire a lot more.

speaking of costs? soooo mu wife is finally all on board with my many grows going on. 6 in a tent, 6 in a closet, 6 outdoor, and and just started germination of Strawberry Banana, Northern Lightsn Amnesia Haze, Blue Berry. im asking about cost cause im up to right at 750 in a combination of 2 lights, 200 in nutrients, new tent, exhaust, fans etc will be running me another 50 to 700. i dont mind spending the miney as my hields are gettung better. My queation would be my wife is allowing me one tent. ive been thinking of a 3x3 to grow one big massive plant. if you/anybody had to choose a tent steup for 1 big plant would should i be apending or are there any good package deals. (i dis just in FOOP nutrients thay were pricey foe the amount you get but my outdoor plants are LOVING IT compare to foxfarm trio. would love to have a killer 3x3 or something to focus on one big plant only

How long do you want to veg for to get this one giant plant? I've grown 2 & 3 plants in the 3x3 the 2 plants were in 5 gallon pots and were vegged for 9 - 10 weeks before going into flower. With 3 plants they were in 3 gallon pots and vegged for 2 months. You'll be looking at a 10 gallon pot with about 90 days veg time ....Just as an Idea of what you'll need to do to get a monster to fill the space.
