Mmm... that's a good question. I know that oils+sulfur is a big no no, but I don't recall how much time between treatments should be allowed. I'm going to make a guess here, purely a guess, and say that a week is good. Purely a guess.

Shit. Just found some in my full sun garden too. Neighborhood farmers all swear by micronized sulfur during the evening, followed by a rinse off in the morning.

I've never had them before. I feel like they came on my vegetable starts. Seems like my 9' tomatoes have them too :(

Debating whether or not to nuke them before sulfur. A few plants are stacking already, but most are just finishing the stretch.

I got broad mites last year and they are the absolute worst thing that can happen besides being raided.... I sprayed with a product called Nuke Em and other miticides along with the normal seaweed extract and some cal mag and other beneficial things... We had two guys with atomizers and a huge 30 gallon rubbermaid tote we could refill the atomizers with and sprayed the whole garden in the morning and evening time... We did this to both gardens and repeated the process every three days for two weeks... We battled them and contained them to the original thirty plants that were infected and kept them from spreading to the other sixty plants...... It was terrible watching 9 or ten foot plants start having every bud that formed die... I almost cried but with tremendous effort we prevailed... ---- This year we were much more careful and are BUG FREE :)

Hay man. I just sprayed forbid and avid 20 days ago. It was brutal. The amount of bugs on 10 LB plants were vexing.

Think of an entire foot ball team both sides on one scope all dead. nothing alive.

Break open a bud and you get a brown but living RUSSET. Look longer you fine a new hatch all happy running strong.

Iv ben using Bigtime exterminator every two days.

I will buy Conserve SC. Or even use AVID.

ZOMFG FUCK

I still have a good chance.

Happy and also not happy to be apart of this thread.

If I don't respond its because im dead./

What does the label say, for any kind of dosing? If it's got no label, I wouldn't use it.

hi peoples.

Today I broke open the worst looking bug. only one moving russet.
I have two paint sprayers and a back pack industrial foggier that runs on gas.

1. There no dead pistols, wrecked leafs and all buds are BOOMING
2. I sprayed floromite day 1 and floromite avid cocktail day 10. (This 25 days ago with no set buds)
followed up by Bigtime exterminator the new 30% improved version 2X a week now bumped up to every 3 days.

Now I ordered conserve SC and will do 3 rounds of that.

Two hydro store guys visited for a day and looked over everything said I was perfect, should be on the cover of a magazine. Some 15 foot tall now.

If my goal was to grow russets then I am doing a bad job, they are hard to locate alive.
Nothing but dead bodies.

'

I'm just going to spray like its super bad. Even though its not.

This has been one tough show, Iv teams of guys rotating in to help spray EVERY 3 days.

I did miss a few sprays by a day or two.
Now im to the point where its weird that I keep spraying, there nothing alive.

But there there like Freddy Kruger, you cant kill him he comes back.

Im almost looking forward to spraying tonight.

big time exterminator, 50 mil (the 30% stronger version)

@The Humanure Your spraying those poisons way too late into the flowering cycle. I hope your crew is wearing proper PPE's.

Yes, I do know how the labels work (which is why I'm flummoxed when people ask what rate to use). Why would you go with the ornamental application if you're growing a consumable? In fact, are you ensuring you're not using the ornamental versions of these products instead of the consumables? It makes a lot more sense to me to be at least that safe, if you're going to use such toxic brews, especially stuff like Avid. In fact, I find myself wondering about how you're doing these applications in sum total. Based on what I'm reading, you're literally mixing the two products together and applying them together. I feel that's a good mix for causing resistance very, very quickly, and I'd bet the manufacturers would agree. They're meant to be used alternately, not together. The fact that you're saying you're still finding live mites is even more disturbing.

Are you relying on this place and the hydro shop for your information, or are you pushing yourself further and harder than that? I hope so.

I am having a problem with russet mites, and am using Met 52, along with Guard and Yucca. We have sprayed 4 times so far, and this seems to be working. It's a bit expensive,$212.00 for all 3, but it is worth it, to save my outdoor garden. Doesn't seem to be effective for spider mites though. This is a big problem, since they are impossible to see. without a strong magnifier, best of luck to anyone who gets these...they are definitely a big threat!

Seamaiden, I dont have conserve SC so no lable.
What do you use to treat thrips and russets on cannabis? Although I don't have any russets now I did last month. Cocktails are the way to go by the way. spray once and forget it, although I switched to organics last month.

all my TCH globes are there, not harvested by russets, no brown anything just happy, and worry...

The last synthetic I used was 60 and 70 days before harvest.

I do not like this time of year and spend most of my time drinking. the stress is crazy

I scope hours a day and nothing bud dead russets and no more inside flower.

I don't get thrips, and haven't had the pleasure of russets to this point, or broads, thank God. I've made a couple of eBay purchases that were whonky, literally came in packing like a Ziploc baggie with a printed sticker giving very sparse dosing instructions, and that's it. Clearly, being sold illegally IF it's actually the product claimed, and as it's been packaged (and given the inefficacy) it could be oregano or something like that, for all I know. So from now on I make sure to purchase these types of products from reputable vendors. ANYTHING that's been repackaged is being sold illegally, and the labeling is the big reason why.

If you've got something that's not giving you very specific dosing instructions, then it could be a product that's been improperly repackaged. And, when we're talking about products like Avid, that's downright dangerous. Thus, my bells and admonitions.

If it doesn't have a label, don't use it. Period.
