Thx for the breakdown mike! :rock I will def keep this in mind... I'd just be happy to setup a 1000W with an Under Current... :itwasntmei dont have hella room either what i like to do is take a given male that i like the traits of then sprinkle three or so females that i like the pheno from if they are seed or just one female if from clone then i harvest those seeds start maybe 100 - 200 on 12 12 from seed kill all males then flower the remaining females a bit longer till they really start showing characteristics kill off all but a few of the fems i really like keep as many of those i have space for as mothers when im ready to breen again i use one of those clones for the female works pretty good at saving space and getting good/desired genetics
Yeah brah! I hope to find killer phenos this Round... Hmmm, I guess I'm gonna need a new carbon scrubber when I upgrade the room. :evilgrinpretty crazy ratio with the ROG. i had 2/3 females so i guess the Raskal Og has a great female ratio or we got lucky with those hahaha. they are fire btw. te=hey stink like a mofo.
Thx bud! I'm just trying to put on a good show for everyone... :character0113:Congratulations, the next one will be at 100,000!
I have read a few posts here by people who certainly enjoy balls in their face, just to be clear. Then I have read a few posts here by people who could use a set in their face... Just my 2 cents...
Thx bud! Just to clarify again... I don't dilute after the fact. That's already done by pretending there's less water than what's in the res...
Hmmm... Now those would be very interesting crosses although I'm leaning towards the Casey Jones x Sensi Skunk as my Sensi Skunk #2 is short statured and hopefully that would help slow down the CJ's explosive stretch... :thinkingSweet bud shots shady. All the ladies are looking mighty healthy.
A Casey Jones x CVK or Sensi Skunk would be so interesting, I don't know if you'd play with that. Regardless I am down for Shady's Breeding show with the those two studs.
Thx Mud Man! No worries and I look forward to your journal soon... :coolRound 5 is insane! killing it shady! K+ thanks for ya help bro
Whaddup true grit!!! That's awesome news about your girls... :friday:I think you're gonna like this post. Wait, let me milk another bowl of Chem's Sis first... :bong2:Shady bro, those bud shots look great!!! That Chem's Sis really looks stellar man.
Can't wait to see those CVK's, got some of those waiting to be popped.
Btw... got the rh up to 55% in my ideal VPD range...shit is looking WAY better! Thanks again for the links!!!
Thx brah! You're too kind... BTW, I'm running Sensi Skunk... :giggleShady you really be killing this shit, that Chemdog's Sister looks like see is the flame. bro you got some really nice strains man. im curious how you the old skool sensi star will turn out... i keep watching like always and enjoy the show buddy best wish and luck to you

Hell yeah! I love Chemdog's Sister... :inloveYo shady that Chemdog's Sister looks ridiculous! getting that technique down ay!:character0050:
For a while now, I’ve been logging photos and details of a phenomenon I’ve noticed, which appears to be a localized vapor pressure deficit, which I will dub L-VPD. Simply stated as wind speed increases across a leaf’s surface, the localized humidity drops since warm air can hold more water vapor than cool air… So if you’re garden’s ambient environment is dialed-in, you can still encounter localized VPD problems. In my situation these problems occur within the immediate vicinity of my fans. So, while my garden is dialed-in, I still have a few leaves that appear to be showing deficiencies, but are simply damaged by high L-VPD.If humidity is too low (i.e. high VPD), the stomata on the leaves tend to close in order to limit transpiration and prevent wilting. This closing of the stomata will also limit the rate of CO2 uptake and hence limit photosynthesis and consequently plant growth. Low humidity also reduces turgidity (water pressure within the plant cells) and this in turn also restricts growth. Blossom end rot in tomatoes and capsicum can also be attributed to low humidity (high VPD).
Conversely, if humidity is too high (i.e. low VPD) the stomata will fully open but even so the plants will be unable to evaporate enough water to carry minerals into the plant and so again, growth will be impeded and mineral deficiencies (particularly calcium) may occur. In addition, the plants may exhibit soft growth, fungal problems and mineral deficiency symptoms.
I'm home all day, every day... :dull Unless I'm at a job interview or the hydro shop. You're one busy mofo watering 3x a day, good thing you're home alot. Do you go anywhere?! :tongue0011:
Yeah it isn't that bad for only a few plants, but it's still a bitch when you sleep past your alarm... :sleepy Honestly, one of the reasons I'm hand watering, besides being low on ends, is this will force me to get up early each day. I've been sleeping in for a year, like a bum... every day is like a Saturday when you're unemployed.3 times a day is doable i check my clones about three times a day
Thx TCM!!! That really means a lot to me... If I can inspire just a few, then I feel like I've accomplished something... :happyShady u aint a lazy mofo bro! trully u inspire me man...Good luck with that automated setup!!
Nah, I really don't have the desire, time, money, space, etc. to run hundreds of plants at the moment... I'll just do some selective pollen chucking. :banana:Shady you starting some breeding projects bro? If so let me know what you have in store man.
Thx so much for the kind words and checking out my small setup stenchtown rock! AP Biology FTW!!! :nerdi just wanted to say that i love your set up.......you will do great things with any breeding project you do......you stay super tuned in to your plants needs.that's what it's about.....loving our girls.....i really like how you get into the exact biology of the plant.......the more you know.......
:rollj: <<<<bubbleberry
Sup SkyHi!!! I'm very happy with my Chem's Sis/D Bx1... She's gonna be one of my favs for a long time. I can actually see the similar structure of the Chemdog D in her although I've only smoked Chemdog D once... :mmmStraight nasty dankness, Chemdog's Sister is fire !!!!the samples i have tried were chemier than some Chemdog #4 and Chemdog D...
I'm dropping some knowledge, while my CVK#3's pollen is dropping like it's hot... :icon_spin:shady your a smart muthafucka mane! good shit! let me know when that cvk #4 pollen drops ;)
Thx Rob1... She's a beauty! :character0103:i loe tat Chemdog's Sister bro looking stellar..
Very nice! Looks like you had fun at the Expose... Hmmm, are there any upcoming garden shows where all the nute companies are dishing out freebies? That's the show I'm looking forward to... :thinkingShady, this is a thread I created with the pictures I took from the LA THC EXPO today:
There is quite a bit of information from Humbolt and Advanced Nutrients if you are seeking that. Otherwise, this is a relatively local event. I am surprised GH didn't make it there... Hopefully I can setup some booth's next year for so our favorites look as good as we do growing their gear!
