These are sweet Shady. Im pretty sure we have the same exact stock. The Chemdog's Sister/d are fem seeds if Im correct, but what about the dud? All Chemdog's Sister/d have shown female for me, and Ive found a few dud females, but I dont think ive found a male yet..

I just inherited some OG'S that where done at the Y like that. Never seen anything on it. They are different looking for sure when standing next to a reg plant

Today the girls got their weekly dose of Roots Excelurator, Great White, and Bud Candy. Afterwards I used strings to carefully LST the tallest shoots to level out the upper canopy, and open up the middle canopy for better light penetration. Here are some shots of the aftermath…

I agree with you about the heat/light stress. I've had the same thing happen to me. One part close the the light looks deficient while the other part farther away looks healthy. I've been interested in these light spreaders too. I wonder If they end up blocking too much light though?

Shady Update… Round 8

Today I finally switched out the 600W Hortilux Super HPS that I’ve used for just over a year in perpetual bloom cycles with a slightly used 600W Sylvania GroLux HPS. This should help these girls blow up a bit after last week’s res change…

Shady Round 8 Bloom Feedings… 10/31/10
Based on 30 gal of RO to begin Week #4:
CalMag (CM): 5 ml/gal
GH Micro (Micro): 5 ml/gal
GH Grow (Grow): 2 ml/gal
GH Bloom (Bloom): 8 ml/gal
PBP Bloom (Bloom): 1 ml/gal
FloraBlend (FB): 5 ml/gal
HammerHead PK 4/8 (HH): 5 ml/gal
Base (pH up): 1 ml/gal
Total PPM’s(@ 0.5 conversion ratio): 978 PPM @ 5.69 pH

You ever consider using a second screen up top? I had buds falling all over the place when I did my first scrog...didn't anticipate it to stretch so much. They seem to fight each other for space lol

As for the second screen, I've got one that I made and used in the last couple rounds... It attaches to the PVC trellis and telescopes up and down by sliding on vertical PVC pipes. I had installed it too early in the past rounds and that didn't give the middle canopy a chance to breath and develope fully. I may use it near the end of flower if the thinner branches start to flop over... :cool

I have a second test room that I just put together so I have two rooms to play with now! Double stacked 600s :) I think i'm back on the hunt for a good colorful strain :) Popped some Jackberry x Madonna last week so they'll be filling in one of the rooms in a couple months...woohoo!

When do you think you'll have the UC grow going? hmm, maybe I should go back and read the rest of the thread lol

:D Hahaa no doubt on the cash cropping motherlode... Thx for dropping by my friend! I will seriously doubt that I'll need the second screen for the MxB in the UC6, but I will still be prepared to add an upper screen if necessary. The MxB is the most bad ass, pure indica that I've got and she grows thick branches after being scrogged... So thick that there's not much chance of flopping over which is great. Plus she seems to be nearly bullet proof against most issues that other strains can't endure... I will keep her in my garden for as long as I can as she is undoubtedly one of my best strains to date... :cool

I've been working on mine for the last 2 weeks and should have a shady setup completed in a few days. No need to read the entire thread either... If you want to see some bud shots from the diff rounds they're around pages 20, 40, and 60 give or take a few pages. Lots of diff mediums and methods to my madness...

Anyways, I've got all my gear already and a 240v service for my Quantum 1000W digital ballast that will power a Hortilux Super HPS in a Magnum XXXL hood over the UC6 (8 gal buckets), a JBJ 1/10 HP chiller to keep the water cool, and an 8" Max Fan to cool that hood and the 600W HPS that is in the Mother tent powered by a 240V digital Lumatek ballast. I've got the bedroom almost cleared out and will drop 4 mil plastic sheeting down for the UC6 and bordered by wood to create a shallow protection for the carpet. I wish I could have my grow room as bad ass as you and TF, but I've got to start somewhere... :thinking

Thx for coming through Aligee! Yeah I've actually had the UC6 boxed up for months now, but not enough funds to get the rest of the gear until now... Unfortunately I ran out of ends and didn't get an window AC, so I'm hoping the Max Fan can cool the hood. In any event I went to Lowes and Home Depot and couldn't find that reflective insulation that you've got... I think easypleasie and TrichromeFan also have the same stuff... Unfortunately all I could find was the Insulfoam that was white on both sides... :wondering

Bro, my first grow was 2 plants in a 3x3 closet! Addiction set in and the grow room started to spread from one room to the next...it needs to stop or I won't have anywhere to sleep! I'm at my count limit so that's probably a good thing...otherwise I'd be sleeping in a tent in the back yard!

The new room is actually my old veg room that I was using for storage. Just needed to clean it up and hang some lights. Put 3 girls in there last night :)

I found that radiant barrier at Lowes...they might be out since it's in big demand now :) My local lowes usually only has 4 rolls on the shelves. Gotta go to different ones if you need more. There's two kinds...get the one with the bubble wrap in between as it's easier to work with.

Hmmm, I've seen the Reflectix radiant barrier 4' rolls which resemble Mylar and I've seen the Relectix Double Foil Insulation that has the bubble wrap in the middle, but for some reason I thought you guys were using 4'x8' rigid sheets... :thinking
