Looks great Shady, before you get too far along, have you started any beneficial bacteria yet? It is best to start very early as to populate the entire system and reduce algae growth as well as provide a biofriendly rhizosphere for your roots. Let me know if you have any questions on which ones to use, I start all my systems off with a solid round of probiotics and some Companion it contains 43 million beneficial Bacillus subtilis GB03 bacteria which will keep your system algae free and create a healthier root zone. Good Luck

Although I will definitely not be going that extreme with the organics as you've done, I am seriously considering the substitution of AquaShield in lieu of Zone and then crown feeding with Roots Excelurator and Great White... I'm still soaking up all the recent info on these topics... :icon_spin:

Thx Mr. GoodCat! As much as I'd love to pimp out my setup, I've decided to run it stock the first run and then upgrade on the second run... I too have had my head spinning with all the diff info and opinions on whether or not to run a sterile res... I'm starting to lean towards the AquaShield side of things though... :icon_dizzy:

Once again many thanks to Dan and Christian, at Current Culture, for excellent customer support. A week ago I switched out the Pondmaster air pump with an Alita AL-40, which is much quieter and stronger than the Pondmaster. I've also added a collar to keep the air line in place…

The two picts above were taken last week and all of the following pictures were taken yesterday. On a side note my humidity has been low during the last week (around 40% RH) and not many roots were coming out of the net pots. Here are a couple quick shots of the epicenter which has not been topped off yet, but I will need to do so tomorrow as the water level is 1” below the lip. The nutrient solution has increased by 6 PPM…

To resolve the issue of slow vegetative growth, I’ve been turning off the exhaust fan in the adjacent bathroom since Monday to increase the ambient humidity, but I will need to install my aircooled exhaust on the Magnum XXXL asap…

I also mixed up a gallon of DM Gold (veg A+B), Zone, 2 ml of CalMag, and 1 ml of Roots Excelurator. The resultant mix was just under 200 PPM and the pH was set to 5.8; then two days ago on Wednesday, I took each net pot out of the buckets and drenched them with this mix. Luckily the roots exploded over night and began to come out of the net pots…

Once I install the aircooled exhaust, I will lower the hood and increase the Quantum to 75% power. I’m open to any suggestions as this is a learning experience for me…

P.S. I wrote this update a bit buzzed off some Vodka and Rum as I’m too chicken to blaze some herb… If anyone has any good links on detox drinks for drug tests, I’d really appreciate the info. Damn, these nugs are burning a hole in my pocket…

Don't increase PPM IMO, they look well green already. Rapidly growing tissue will look that lighter lime color but settles in to a deeper shade as the leaf progresses.

Operate on a don't fix what isn't broke policy and you'll kill it. You're trying to achieve perfectly flat almost tissue thin leaves, too much food and they start to get dark green and wavy on their leaf edges.

Enough opinion as I popped in for a recommendation. I get some funky pics on the iPhone using a free app called instagram. Peep it.
