Wild turkey. A friend of mine has a flock of over 40 wild turkeys roaming her area.
She started with 1 hen and a few chicks and now shes got all these way cool birds free ranging her beautiful home and other homes in the area.
In the evening they roost in a large cottonwod tree. Good size and real good eating, mostly hens
Was going to harvest one but could not bring myself around to killing even just one of these magnificent creatures...

Nice! I went out and got a nice used Cybex for Seamaiden that she uses. It's definitely lower impact on the knees, and given her ACL reconstruction, something more suitable for her. At almost 53, I'm thankful that I still have good knees that allow me to run. I hoping to be still running 20 years from now, ya know?

Walking,hiking, treadmills...great for the body...but much better for the Spirit.

I do quite of bit of high altitude hiking and some risky rock climbing (I love the adrenaline rush) I often Wog as well which is a walk then jog, back to walk and alternate to keep the heart rate up.

But of course much of the benefits depending where you walk, jog or hike though. I never understood joggers running in heavy traffic and around rush hours. ??

If we didn't have 4 dogs to deal with...we'd be there. Anything other than camping with 4 large dogs is tough to pull off and have >any> relaxation in the mix whatsoever. Toss is some livestock and 3 or 4 other dogs and it would be general mayhem.....at least for my 4. LOL

Thats cool man. Cant wait to see pics. What kinda tortise? Just bought my wufe a Sulcatta. Really nice. Also just picked up two more Cali Kingsnakes. A huge six foot female and a five foot male. A petshop un Warren,Mi was closing down and liquidating. I got the pair, a breeding pair, for $30 bucks!!! Also gitta great deal on rwo unsexed young Leapord Gecko's. Alwayz wanted some!!
