In case it is Rosin and QWISO I will gladly teach you.

First thing you want is hair straightener , parchment paper, and 25 micron screens or two thickness coffee filter.

Allow the straightener to get hot. Put some kief inside 25 micron screen and put the screen between two layers of ciffee filter in parchment paper And press for about 10 seconds. Many people do like three presses, then using a dab tool gather the Rosin on the dab tool and use like shatter. This is said to have the best flavor.

Put the remaining kief or trim in a jar.

When ready to start put the jar of Kief or trim keep the jar to half full or less. Put the alcohol in the freezer too. You want everything cold as possible

After a few hours completely cover with Everclear or High grade isopropyl. I use 99% but it is said anything over 90% will work.



Pour alcohol and completely cover the cannabis, and swirl or shake the alcohol through the cannabis. Sone people do 6 10 second alcohol washes. Others do 3 30 second washes. I do 1 90 second Wash. After swirling or shaking the set amount of time you want to stop the extraction as soon as possible.

I line a funnel with a coffee filter and over The filter i have a Stainless mesh screen.

Pour the cannabis through the screen.

Take a spoon or spatula and press the liquid out of the plant material.

After filtering the plant material out of the liquid put the liquid back in the freezer for hours.

Now get another jar, funnel and coffee filter and place in the freezer.

Slowly filter the liquid inside the freezer. The clorophyll fats and lipids will be frozen and can't pass through the filter.

Now the liquid is winterized throw the coffee filter away and pour the liquid into a pyrex dish and have a fan blow over the liquid and blow the fumes out a door or window

After most of the alcohol is gone put on heat. Keep the heat low and slowly boil off the alcohol. Just remember excessive heat destroys Terpenes and breaks down cannabinoids.

Completely purge the alcohol out of the QWISO.

Take clean scraper Blades, and scrape up your QWISO.

When it cools it will end up in two forms. A shatter or pull and snap.

Either form can be dabbed, can be used in edibles, or used like RSO, etc.

I dab QWISO.

Never had much luck with Everclear. Always had decent return with 99% isopropyl.

We are in agreement. I prefer 99% because there us less water to get rid of.

Very true.. you can tell that its a faster cook off when using 99.

I've tried iso and didn't care for the flavor. I probably didn't do it perfect. I've just been doing bho for a few years now and it's just second nature. And I prefer the flavor.

The trick to good QWISO is in two factors.

1. Winterize the liquid
2. Keep the heat low so you don't destroy the Terpenes.

Winterized QWISO greatly reduces the harshness many report in QWISO.

I actually freeze Twice..

1. Before extracting
2. Again to filter the liquid so the clorophyll fats and lipids stay frozen and not able to pass through the filter.

That filtration inside the freezer is why my QWISO is smoother than the BHO i buy.

I am trying with the idea of using hexane for my extracting.

Yes hexane us another solvent go extract the trichomes.

.6 grams QWISO from 3.5 grams 17.2% return after final purge from 6 week old buds.

For me I like old school smoking good weed plain and simple..
But hey it's a new day and if this tickles your fancy go for it..
Was at a farmer 420 gathering on 4/20 in Denver. all kinds of top top shelf shatter 3 or 4 hits I sat there could not even speak so ripped..
Also I like to smoke and function fish, farm, run naked. But for me it's a bit much.....

I agree, I couldn't function outside of my cave when I smoked it. Closed the blinds and hid under the window sill with a permugrin, whatever you do don't answer the door I told my wife. She just kept laughfing at me. I felt helpless and she wouldn't help me.

Been smoking since 10 31 1970..
Still get high as hell, not a real fuss pot about top shelf and all that. what we grow is all organic, tastes good can function puffing all day.After going 17 days cold turkey in New Zealand finally finding mid grade at best I will never complain about quality or availability.
