Here's some pics of skywalker og. There are a few different cuts labeled skywalker. This is not the vigorous harborside/fruitridge one. This finiky plant doesnt really yield much and definately lacks vigor. The stems are super thin and stretchy. The cut was sourced out of Humboldt.
Smells a ton like tahoe og and 707 headband.

The "low yielding" finiky little bitch is the TRUE Skywalker, so atleast you know the cut is what you think it is!

Beautiful job, are you going to keep working with her?

Yea I definitely will continue to work with this girl. I really want chuck some good tahoe og pollen on her to increase yield and vigor. The two seem very close genetics wise.

Thanks and yes shes covered in PM. Out of about 10 strains shes the most susceptible to PM. I've since treated my mom with honor guard so I'm hoping it won't come back..

I've noticed GreenCure takes care of the PM and Eagle20 keeps it away -- dont spray ANYTHING in flower with Eagle20w, though.

Yeah ive heard good things about greencure but one thing iv'e noticed with greencure and all the ph altering fungicides for that matter is that they don't actually kill the PM. You see the problem is that powery mildew is systemic and once a plant gets it, its basically infected for life. Altering leaf ph doesn't ever actually kill the PM it just prevents it from materializing. So once the fungicide is no longer in use the PM always comes back. Taking clones of clones doesnt really seem to completely rid it either.

They do however, sell systemic fungicides that actually kill the PM.

BANNER MAXX is broad spectrum foliar fungicide with systemic properties for control of Fusarium Patch (Microdochium nivale), dollar spot (Sclerotinia homoeocarpa), Anthracnose (Colletotrichum graminicola), Brown patch (Rhizoctonia solani) and Fusarium Patch (Microdochium nivale) on managed amenity turf and amenity grassland.
Propiconazole is rapidly absorbed by the assimilating parts of the plant, mostly within one hour of treatment. It is transported acropetally (upwards) in the xylem. This systemic translocation contributes to good distribution of the active ingredient within the plant tissue.
Propiconazole is a member of the DMI-fungicides group (demethylation inhibitors) These materials act on the fungal pathogen inside the plant at the stage of first haustoria formation and stop disease development by interfering with sterol biosynthesis in fungal cell membranes.
Propiconazole has protective, curative and eradicant activity, although best results will be achieved when BANNER MAXX is applied when the disease is still in the early stages of development. It is recommended that application begins when conditions are favourable for disease infection and at the very beginning of disease symptom expression.

Banner MAXX ™ is a systemic fungicide that provides effective broad-spectrum disease control in turf and ornamentals. It is a microemulsion concentrate formulation providing excellent tank mix compatibility and stability; no odor, and mixes into a clear solution.

...used for the control of numerous diseases on ornamentals, turf, and other landscape plantings. It is used for leaf spots, blights, rusts and powdery mildew.

Don't use this shit without reading the precautions. You should wear gloves and long sleeves and avoid as much contact with the chemical as possible. For honor guard or bannermaxx use 1/2 tsp per gallon. Feel free to completely drench the plant and surrounding area. Veg for at the very least 3 weeks of fast growths after application before taking clones and never spray plants that will go into flower. PM should be gone with one application. Two will ensure complete eradication.

Please use this chemical ethically.

I used it about two months ago and there have been absolutely no signs of PM even in a mother room.

she's a picky one aint she doubledub?

Harvested just 1 ounce off 2 of those babies...half for me half for my homie. Soooo glad we grew her tho...this smoke is to die for.

I can crack my jar of 707 headband and it'll wreak the room up...but if I crack my jar of skywalker...people start turning heads down the block lol

Skywalker OG = The most amazing OG out there.

Could use a yield boost, but altering these genetics would be disgraceful. Let's add some vigor to this bitch and chuck some tahoe pollen!!!

I just got the Skywalker.

I heard it was just Larry that was grown and passed around Lucas Valley CA

Anybody know about this one?

I was also offered the Cyprus Hill OG. I believe it is the DJ Muggs Abusive cut???

Do you think these are worth having, if I already have the Tahoe clone only?

yo dub wobble it's definately worth takin through a test cycle. Theres probably four or five different cuts labeled skywalker goin around cali. Seems like a lot of people started callin thier shit skywalker to sell it for a higher price... The one I have definately isn't larry but yours could very well be. if it is then keep it cause larry is just as good as tahoe. take it for a test run man and keep us updated!

yup...def worth the run. Unlike most og in that it doesn't have as lemony of a taste as the sfv. It's like the tahoe x 10 in flavor...at least in my curing jar lol. The tahoe does have that great piney flavor from the chems tho...both keepers.

Chuck pollen lol

I have had some amazing skywalker, from the bay area jar, harbor and longbeach spot. It's all had the lemony smell (thats the og smell), but also a little earthy spice, not bubba tho. Some of best smell tree ever. Never smelled it without the lemony kush, if it doesn't have that I think it's probably fake. However it doesn't smell as skunky as some og's.

Right now im running the skywalk from harbor stout as heck looks incredible, does anyone know if it has that lemony smell or what the end result is in terms of smell??

It smells nice an fruity but its hard to tell what end result be on some strains, can't tell.

thanks

the buds on the ones that were topped more looks exactly like the primo skywalker from the jar.

I just finished a skywalker cut from a dispensary in West LA, and either I really really screwed up or something else went wrong, but it would not finish. I took it over 100 days just to be sure.. finally gave in.

It looks great though! I don't even know if what I have is in fact true skywalker OG, as mine never had the inner curling dark leaves I see so often. It's light green, with woody stems and does well as a bonsai

LA Pure Kush

Well ive done a ton of research and can honestly say I'm 99 percent certain this cut is not skywalker og. It is the elusive og la pure kush.

When comparing photos it's quite obvious.

My cut grown by PKK

As far as skywalker is concerned it seems there are three bomb cuts.

There's a sativa nodular cut
http://i922.invalid.com/albums/ad68/JAY-LOK/skywalker-og.jpg

Theres a rock solid nice round indica cut. This one seems like the most common and is probably what most know as skywalker.

And then theres a lighter colored cut with fat sort of separated calyxes and uneven nug structure kinda like the tahoe.
