do you run a top feed as well then? I only recall seeing your ebb tables with a top feed I think? Do you use rf-10 or would anything really work for the lid?
I don't do top feed. BG does though. I like that idea too though. Seems to make a nice big root mat for transplanting to the UC.
My plan was to take the clones, transplant to netpots and flood/drain until roots start coming out the bottom ~10-14 days, then move to another table and just have an 1"-1.5" of heavily aerated water recirculating continuously on that table.
I've had an issue where I keep back stragglers/slow veggers/backups and the mix of new clones and older ones doesn't work out so well nute-strength wise. Either going to scorch the new ones or slow the older ones down with deficiencies.
I think any stiff 'foam board' will work, hell panda stretched and taped tight might be fine too. Whatever works to keep algae from growing on the table.
Ive done a top feed 24/7 with the drain fitting set at 2-3 inches with airstones. Worked great you get really long roots. This run there coming out very thick top feed every 4 hrs. Ill take some pics I been neglecting the grow gotta give them some love tomorrow.

15 mins every 4?

Rmcg correct 15 min on
Crossout just grow em man the frosty grows good I usually top em at 8-10 inches and keep the nutes low. Cloning them can be the bitch do like I told you in pm and they root right up

Roots are blowin up real quick. Covered the tops like you said bg and grabbed little green twisties to start lst them. I also raised the water level up about two inches on the net pot.
The ph is sitting at 6.1 and ppm are at 300

clean gro bro.
Great job on the roots! I would start ramping up the nutes to 600-700 ppm at the minimum because me thinks 300 is way too low especially with a mostly organic nute brand. Wondering if you'll experience nutrient fallout with that brand... hopefully not.
Anyway, you're doing great and even if heat isnt an issue placing your chiller outside your room won't make it work as hard and will prolong its longevity. And much less of a chance of temperature fluctuations in your nutrient solution on the hotter days.
Wish you much luck and sending your plants good vibes -Keepz
