do you run a top feed as well then? I only recall seeing your ebb tables with a top feed I think? Do you use rf-10 or would anything really work for the lid?

I don't do top feed. BG does though. I like that idea too though. Seems to make a nice big root mat for transplanting to the UC.

My plan was to take the clones, transplant to netpots and flood/drain until roots start coming out the bottom ~10-14 days, then move to another table and just have an 1"-1.5" of heavily aerated water recirculating continuously on that table.

I've had an issue where I keep back stragglers/slow veggers/backups and the mix of new clones and older ones doesn't work out so well nute-strength wise. Either going to scorch the new ones or slow the older ones down with deficiencies.

I think any stiff 'foam board' will work, hell panda stretched and taped tight might be fine too. Whatever works to keep algae from growing on the table.

IM going to have to figure something out for when this first batch is done. I want to have everything ready for another run. I will have to start designing that setup soon.

Ive done a top feed 24/7 with the drain fitting set at 2-3 inches with airstones. Worked great you get really long roots. This run there coming out very thick top feed every 4 hrs. Ill take some pics I been neglecting the grow gotta give them some love tomorrow.

Im curious since I know you like to tinker. What have you found on the sb, bs x ogk, and the frostitute to get the fastest growth? I guess that would be more appropriate for the frosty since you have run that more times.

Here we go...

Just filled my cloner up with a bunch of gifts from bg. I'm super stoked for all these

you sir are a scholar and gentleman. Bought my beer and lunch thanks again!

Okay business time...two of my patients pleaded for a organic grow so I threw the bs ogk in some 3 gal smarties and some ffof.

Quick tips for ya buddy
Take the cages off until there bigger, cut some squares of panda and put a slit in it to cover the hydroton. Run that water 2" above the bottom of the netpot. Thats why I made the preveg tray I was getting sick of waiting for good roots for 2 weeks in the UC.
Good luck bro
BG

PS how about a new pics of the cloner today and I bet they stank

Roots are blowin up real quick. Covered the tops like you said bg and grabbed little green twisties to start lst them. I also raised the water level up about two inches on the net pot.

The ph is sitting at 6.1 and ppm are at 300

Great job on the roots! I would start ramping up the nutes to 600-700 ppm at the minimum because me thinks 300 is way too low especially with a mostly organic nute brand. Wondering if you'll experience nutrient fallout with that brand... hopefully not.
Anyway, you're doing great and even if heat isnt an issue placing your chiller outside your room won't make it work as hard and will prolong its longevity. And much less of a chance of temperature fluctuations in your nutrient solution on the hotter days.
Wish you much luck and sending your plants good vibes -Keepz

I was going to let the root system fill out a little more before bumping it up. I heard this is what daniel runs so I thought I would give it a try.i still have a ton of canna aqua flores that will be put to use in flower.

Who else has run bloom bastic? Kritical you pulled two with one light with just that as your bloom additive?

Ill be moving the chiller next run when I upgrade. The weather and room are awesome my ac is barely working with three lights on and my chiller turns on maybe once an hour things are running smooth. I didnt have time to wait for the blumats so I built a drip ring system to feed the smarties as well. I need to go to home depot to get a week long cycle timer. Allows me to set it when I have to leave town for a minute

That would be bad ass if it works out well. And the aqua shield is doing awesone in the system other than the main shoot of roots you can see others pushing through as well. All the frosty in the cloner are doing awesome but the Chemdog D sour d across the board don't look so hot
