Heh, no kidding. Does Ness still shoot up? You from the OC? I had a good friend who used to do a lot of shooting up w/Ness. I'm actually kind of surprised he's still alive, given the past and all.Man haven't caught a SD show since the late 80's,early 90's. Didn't even realize they were still touring. Cool!
I wouldn't be able to make the show itself but if you all are meeting up somewhere for a preshow drink & a bite to eat - I'm down.
AWESOME! I saw Fishbone at a teeny tiny little bar in the artist district of downtown LA, near Skid Row. Far too small for a mosh pit, but some huge asshole decided he was gonna mosh. Not for long! Sea had her bright yellow patent leather stilettos, and a single crack to the noggin straightened his shit right out.Nope not OC, DC. Used to catch their shows at the 9:30 club, along with Butthole and a bunch of groups like the original lineup of Fishbone.
Heh, sounds like a BHS show. My "time" for seeing them was back in the 80s.I saw the butthole surfers at emos in austin circa 2000.
Gibby busted out a shotgun and fired a blank over the croud, then preceeded to fill a cymbal with rubbing alcohol, light it on fire and hit it with a drumstick. then he started tearing up stuffed animals.
I grew up with the nephew of the guitarist so we always got backstage and free tickets at the shows. Some crazy weird people come out of central texas and I'm sure I'm one of them.
Altitude, be sure to post back and let us know how all the SD boys are looking. I would expect Hep C would leave its mark, but ya never know.
