Lovely garden you have there.
Thank you! It certainly takes some effort And the way I'm feeding them this year I was worried id under or over feed them.

I'm not going off the instructions on a bottle this time I'm feeding them aerated compost tea both foliar and soil drench and jadam liquid fertilizer I started last summer opposite of each other wdith a few days of regular watering in-between the feedings.

I kinda just guessed this would be a good balance and figured if I saw a bunch of nutrient issues I'd adjust but for the most part so far things look healthy and happy.

Was taking cuts today from some of the plants I wanted to save only to realize the cherry pie is already in flower! Decided against taking cuts from the cherry pie since she is already in flower so I'll have to get another cut of that from my buddy later on if I want to grow her next year. I did take cuts from the durban butter which grew great this year, the bettie page, mass super skunk , and I already have a runtz clone started for next years mother.

Yeah I know but I appreciate you pointing It out, I've been spraying with bt but living where I do we get alot of bugs so some make it through. The amount of eggs I saw a few weeks ago was insane. I squished a bunch before they could even hatch but I k ew id miss some so I've been spraying with bt regularly trying to get rid of as much of them as possible before flower.

This clone I was given as Bettie page has some beautiful stems, the entire plants stems are purple like this. Fairly sure the purple is genetic not a deficiency.

Beautifull Have you noticed any other unique traits in this clone?
From the research I've done on the strain the breeder didn't say what its parent strains are but people speculate its a cross of indica and a ruderalis and it does kinda resemble the autoflower plants ive grown in structure and leaf shape so I could see that as being true .

Otherwise nah haven't noticed much else out of the ordinary besides the stems so far.

I think I'm getting a bit of a potassium deficiency now that the plants are going into flower so I've added extra seaweed extract to the compost tea I nade this week and foliar fed the plants twice this week and a soil drench. I'm hoping the issue doesn't get too bad but I've already made adjustments to the feeding so shouldn't be too bad.

Will be adding seaweed extract to the JLF whenever I feed with that from now on so they will definitely get enough potassium.

My other herbs are doing nice, now that the cilantro are flowering and the chervil have been flowering i put the cilantro plants (in pots) right next to the chervil plants right between all my weed plants so they should be getting the companion plants benefits from the herbs. I put the rosemary and one of the chamomile in between my plants too and ill be moving the other herbs in pots closer soon too. I'm.not sure how close they have to be growing to get the companion plant benefits.

Wish I knew how to grow potatoes before planting these potatoes, think I would have been better off digging a ditch first and planting in that filling it in as it grows instead of building big mounds of dirt but oh well live and learn.

I grow potatoes every year, very easy to grow, nitemare to keep alive. I only want the small size, vines are done by July. You should get a few taters out of them hills.

Yesterday after posting here I saw garden like a Viking had posted a new video showing how to make bloom booster using bat guano, sea bird guano, and worm castings.

I already bought 40lbs of worm castings a month ago to make the aerated compost tea(also got the recipe for the compost tea from garden like a Vikings video as well) so I just went and ordered 10 lbs of bat guano and 5 lbs of sea bird guano and will be adding the bloom booster as a second feeding each week a few days apart from the aerated compost tea/JLF like he describes in the video ill link below and this should fix the potassium issue i have right now.

Next year I'll add this bloom booster earlier and try to avoid any issues but live and learn. Still pretty early so shouldn't be a huge impact as long as this change fixes it I wouldn't think.

Will check it out! I like nate! Been looking for a K boost without the calcium, magnesium, and sulfur boost that comes with a lot of them! I already have excess of that in my soil!

Yeah Nate is great! He's where I've gotten basically everything I've been feeding my plants this year like the JLF, the aerated compost tea, and now this new bloom booster.

So Ive been thinking about it and im wondering if atleast part of the reason I'm having nutrient issues is due to the long periods of rain we've been having this season leaching nutrients out and not allowing the plants to uptake the nutrients properly.
