Just waiting to see any signs of sex, and there is nothing yet... On another note, I'm sick of this soil shit in my basement. And it gets expensive, so I am already ordering shit to do a diy rdwc. Funny, how fast my thought process changes. I was talking about organic soil growing last month but I just think it will be cleaner and easier. I have a drain on my basement floor and water hook ups. Hope I can handle it. I'm just gonna take it slow...

I considered it, but I figured I'd just go all in on it. In my eyes, after much research, I think it actually seems a little simpler than Coco in some ways. I know I'll have growing pains, but I won't fully give up soil until I know I have a good system in place. And I will have to adapt to the drawback of controlling all plants from one res.

No I haven't even flipped yet. I was hoping to identify before I flip so I could transplant to final homes without wasting anything. I didn't want to transplant after I flipped. I took cuttings and have had them on 12/12 hoping they would show sex but they haven't yet. I did get them to root tho! So I guess I did something right.

Still waiting on air pump, water pump, bullheads, and a bunch of little shit. But I'm getting excited! I think I'm gonna like this I'm cutting everything I got down to size and I just put the holes in the buckets.

Did you build it based on heisen tutorial? Looks good. Are you going to switch from your current medium to rdwc?

Thanks. Yeah I pretty much followed exactly... I just changed some of the measurements so it fits better in my space. But I'm gonna finish this run in soil, and hopefully I will have clones going in my other tent and I can harvest and then get this system set up in my 5x5 to put the clones in.

Nice. Are you going to keep the res on the outside of the tent? Seems like a tight fit in a 5x5 otherwise

I was thinking about this. It seems I have 2 options.

1. I could squeeze it in there tight and have a top off reservoir outside the tent and run a tube from it to the control bucket inside the tent.

Or

2. I could extend it to be outside the tent but then I would have to run PVC from outside the tent to inside.

I think right now I am gonna try to squeeze it in there. It's about 55 inches from end to end. My tent is 60 inches. The cool thing is if I do want to move it outside the tent, this whole system is very easy to modify.
