I have 4 plants in flower. Tallest plant is over 6 feet flowering area is 5x5. My buds go beyond 5x5

Yeah i was asking for your footprint. That light would not light up a 5x5 properly for flower at aprox 430 watts. Im sure it would veg but i dont believe in stretching footprints for veg either.

Can you get a whole plant pic? I would like to see how they grew. I keep my plants short so the lowers are as good as the uppers.

Those plants would do even better if you moved the lights closer together more over the plants.

They cover 2x2 barely as it is. Prefer spreading it out as there normally isn't a gap in the canopy but you can see the 4 seedlings on the left.

Cheers

I regret cutting a lot of lower branches. Lesson learned. This is my shortest flowering so far. Tried to get a couple of close ups.

Shit, I'm using a SF 2000 in a 48"x36"x72" tent was told by them this would cover, didn't/don't want to go bigger because I don't want to pay for the power, I'm essentially just a hobby grower on a budget, doing ok I guess.

when compared to COB's my SF 1000's ran hot like a SOB and i'm not a DIY guy so i moved some on the secondary market and kept a couple for veg and small projects. can't blame the lights i suppose. but do consider remote mounting that driver if you run more than a couple, also disappointing that they can not be run series.

who bashed SF man and why do you feel the need to defend them? let them do that if they feel attacked. just because they bought ad space here does not make them exempt from criticism. SF's are Q boards from china, nothing fancy or hype about them. just another amazon Qboard now filling a void left behind my mars-hydro or some other supplier that misunderstands how advertising works. i have unbranded Q-boards that look and run just as well as SF with all the same parts for less on the bay. as a matter of fact i can even order these lights and have my name stamped on em!! 'OG Lights' etc. as long as i have been here we have always been fair and honest with our advertisers and the feedback we offer to each other and the companies. our goal has never been to blindly support a adverister, but to help enlighten fellow growers through our experiences good or bad. as for me, i failed to listen to senior members around and bought my fair share of SF lights. yes they performed well enough i suppose, i started to ask myself is "well enough good enough for me". the answer was simple and i dumped my SF's and invested in the highest quality lights i could afford that checked the most boxes meeting my needs, SF was never on that list.

Lol. Listen to these guys. “Mysf1000 doesn’t go in series, or my plants aren’t growing,” well I know sf1000 can be daisy chained and my pants seems to liken. What’s the problem?

you see how they all like to bash your product Spider Farmer? Hahaha. Well I’m glad to see one company here that is actually trying. Even though people bash it it great to see a company here online supporting and gathering info.

Well obviously you are a long term grower. I just started. So I’m new. Not defending. Just gloating I guess cause it’s my first grow and I compare the looks of plants and I like what I’m seeing. Sorry for being so positive about my light.
Play the song follow behind the scene and just eat shit because apparently I don’t know anything

by no means am i any of whatever u wrote? be proud of your lights be proud of grow brother but remember a critique of a product is not a criticism of its owners nor it praise for that matter. i enjoyed my SF lights and as i said they worked well. now i’ve outgrown them and wish i had listened to more experienced growers and just bit the bullet and went with a higher grade light from the start. but that me not everyone. your lights might serve your needs for years and i hope they do!
as for me i wish i had followed a lot of advice i was gifted here when i started growing, it would have saved me a lot of time and money with better results quicker.

I beg to differ. I get shit all the time about SF. LED grow market is an exponentially expanding market. You never know when the next small company may dominate above the rest.

As I said I'm on a budget, I've seen people grow with less, can't afford 100's $s electric bills at the moment.
