Well I live in Ohio in a city suburb, I'd be locked up &/or the plants would grow legs & run away real fast if I took this option, the weather has been great for it though.

As I said I'm on a budget, I've seen people grow with less, can't afford 100's $s electric bills at the moment.

Nice idea, wish I was more handy, it would make a nice addition to my music attic.

Do you have a PDF of recommended lamp heights above canopy and lamp power settings for seedlings, veg and flower? I recently purchased a 2000 and wasn't sent any info within the package.

there isn’t any. all their info is listed on their website and or ebay, amazon etc so fourth and so on. the drivers are dimmable but only by a small hard to use screw with no setting and from what i’ve read would allow you to over clock the light even, if you aren’t careful. although i can not confirm the over clocking as i never messed it with. you see how they all like to bash your product Spider Farmer? Hahaha. Well I’m glad to see one company here that is actually trying. Even though people bash it it great to see a company here online supporting and gathering info.

Seedlings 25% or all the way down,

Veg 50% - 75% let the plants decide where they are happiest at, Increase % each week as they age into veg don't just go right into blasting them when there not seedlings anymore :P

flower 100%

I've only been sent the SF-600 from Chita at spider farmer. Obviously it's thier weakest light and hopefully they'll allow me to test one of thier "real" boards in my flower tent. SF-600 is great for veg, but you can't flower under it.....just too weak. That's not a knock on the board, it's been great so far!!! Vegging girls sure love it too @SpiderFarmerLED

A friend of mine is getting a SF soon, think a 1000. I've heard ok things about, cant be any worse than the kings that I'm using that are working fine for me, got mix of qb & blurple & yes I said king not kingbrite so I went totally low end but it's not bad compared with 1000w hps that I ran before. I'm actually getting decent stuff off these cheap lights. I'll upgrade someday but not now cuz I'm outta extra $ lol.
Grows can be effectively done with cheap lights like SF. Just takes little more effort to get optimum coverage for most part

Imo the heatsinks are different I can't say they are lower quality and I may be wrong but I doubt they are higher quality.

If ya have the $$$ go with hlg if your looking for a competitive budget option this is a good one.

Again just my opinion but I have not run any SF lights. I'm in the market so maybe I'll pick on up and do a side by side vs my hlg. I don't think there will be much difference in terms of growth bit Indo feel possibly in life of the product.

@SpiderFarmerLED what's a 600w run cost wise?
