How's the "Airpots" as I may try 1 vs 3 gal material to compare. Nice setup

Its too bad the prices are higher. I am starting to build a new grow room in the basement. Not a tent. I am fortunate enough to have some extra space in the basement. Was thinking about trying spider farmer as I need 4 large lights. Currently using HLG and I am very happy with the results. Their UV light really made some great terps. Does anybody know how to get a coupon code or is the demand just too high and I should stick to HLG. I like LED so no MH or CMH for me. They make too much heat for my environment.

I try to reduce my exposure to the led light and I wear sunglasses and long sleeves when in the tent. I also turn the dimmer all the way down , a couple times a day, whenever I’m working in the tent. Is it ok to adjust the dimmer that often?

I was looking at the new Vivosun LEDs that are definitely meant to compete with the spider farmers. They’re still using the Samsung LM301 diodes. SF uses the B model and Vivosun uses H model. From what I’ve read, H model is specifically for horticulture and the B model is the original. Thing is the Vivosun is about $150 cheaper for the 4000 series. That said I have a SF-1000 and a SF-4000. They work great and I have been very happy with them but I want to upgrade my tent to a 4x8 and with this new very comparable model out for cheaper I’m kinda torn between what I know works well and needlessly paying extra. Thoughts?

Hi looking into your sf 2000 for a 2 by 3 tent would this be too big for the tent itself

I'm currently running 2 x SF1000 in a 2.5' x 3' tent.
During flower I ran them at a height of 13". That's measured from the tip of tallest bud to the light.
I trained the plant hard, so most of the buds are close to the same height.
Both lights running at 80%.

The results are absolutely wonderful as far as I know. It is my first grow ever and I learned on the fly.
There was some experimenting with light intensity and height placement.

Hope this helps you out somehow.
