The first observation is--
the Lab Rats flowered about a month before my "indigenous inbred strain" ...

Another thing I discovered about seeds these days:
they're all little bitty tiny things,
glad I didn't get just one kind;
would've thought they wuz defective 'er somethin'.

They're like a third or a quarter (wish I would have taken comparison pics)
the size of any seed I've ever been familiar with.

Is that because of cloning (I noticed the flowers on my Dervish clone appeared to be a tiny bit smaller than the original),
or maybe selecting for small/compact flowers--
or???...

Buds with large chunky calyxes create larger seeds (in my crosses anyway) and lower smaller less developed more fluffy buds create smaller seeds (in case of my P cross anyway). I also get larger seeds from indica-dom plants than sativa.

Yep, Trainwreck is one of Casey Jones' progenitors;
and my CaseyJones X GSC were the smallest seeds,
but the others wern't a whole bunch bigger--
after a while there was no major difference in seedling size between big and small seeds...

Make seeds--
not war...

I make a new brush every year,
out of a lock of my wife's hair;
or like this year--
my beard...

I got the gunny sack above in Laytonville,
when we went up for the Jerry Garcia Band/Dr. John Eel River show weekend/week 1989.

The gunny sack below came from a Texas feed store and comprised their whole truckload/order that showed-up;
they sent 'em back, bless 'em--
but not before friends snagged a few samples...
