Either way. Whatever and however you can make it work but it works pretty well and is cheap as hell. I think a box of paper clips is like $3. As you can see in the picture I was too lazy to actually make the proper bends. I just used the bends the clip had. LOL! You can even hook a higher branch to a lower branch that you're LSTing and bend it down too!oh, so you use it like a chain? i thought you used it like that tool i posted.
thanks. your plant looks amazing.Either way. Whatever and however you can make it work but it works pretty well and is cheap as hell. I think a box of paper clips is like $3. I was even thinking of a light wire that you could wrap around the branch and bend it however you wanted like a pipe cleaner but I'm not sure how the pressure on the branch would affect the plant. Look at how they tie Bonsai Trees and it'll give you a ton of LST ideas. Japanese are experts in LST.
Thanks! Just waiting on them to reveal their gender then I'm gonna cull and net. The two plants on the right are the biggest and healthiest so I'm going to move those to the middle of the tent and use the other 4 to bookend the center plants and use them to help fill in the screen.thanks. your plant looks amazing.
it all looks even. and almost full. how old are they? Thanks! Just waiting on them to reveal their gender then I'm gonna cull and net. Judging from what I'm seeing it looks like they're all females but I need to see the actual pistils to be sure. I'm seeing the start of pistils but I've been fooled before so, since they're going to be under the net and I don't want to have to move them after I set the net up so I'm going to wait a little longer to be sure.
It looks like the two plants to the left, the one that is taller than the others and the one towards the back will be removed and I'll put them out in the backyard to naturally flower on mother natures time schedule!
That's awesome. They about a week older than my Buttercup(GRCxBBC). Will be nice to watch your ladies get downPaper clip LST Brother!!
Put the seeds to paper towel on June 4th. They sprouted on June 8th and I transplanted to soil the same day. They broke soil line on June 13th.
So tempted to pull the two out and start up the flower run but I gotta be patient! LOL!That's awesome. They about a week older than my Buttercup(GRCxBBC). Will be nice to watch your ladies get down
Hey @RootsRuler can i use the paper clip to bend down my branches even if i'm on day 8 of flowering stage?Paper clip LST Brother!!

i'll have to get that pic tomorrow as i just started dark mode right now. thanks yeah i'm finding that out about being gentle.Have your plants started to show flower pistils? Got a photo of what they look like at present?
You can use it whenever you think you need to restrain a branch or use it to even out your canopy if one branch is pushing ahead of the others but be careful. You can snap branches at the internode if you aren't careful. Small movements. Move it a little every day so that you don't stress it out or break branches.
@RootsRuler here are my pics i took this AM.Have your plants started to show flower pistils? Got a photo of what they look like at present?

I got my new light HLG-150 Patriot, so tent is covered a lot better now than before.@RootsRuler here are my pics i took this AM.
Looking great! Good job @Neueregel .@RootsRuler here are my pics i took this AM.
It has been like 2 weeks-ish since you flipped? Dang those flowers are growing quiiick. Going to be be monsters. Wonder if they eventually will need to be supported somehow so don't fall overThank you @CannaGranny @RootsRuler for the comments. here are today's pics. i did use some of your paper clips and gentle lowered some branches. i did this before your comment today.
yeah i bought some string to hold them up if needed. It has been like 2 weeks-ish since you flipped? Dang those flowers are growing quiiick. Going to be be monsters. Wonder if they eventually will need to be supported somehow so don't fall over
looks good. yeah like mine had 1 plant that was growing slowly. thank god i fix that with the HLG 125. that is sweet. question with the scrog net up how can you defoliate all plants thoroughly? We just got smashed by some monsoons hah 3" fell in less than 60 minutesthankful to not be in flower or I'd have had to wrestle with the dehumidifier instead of the shop vac as I tried to keep our atrium from flooding the house. Checked on the girls and still so far so good. Aside from the blue sunset sherbet being a supreme squatter who refuses to grow vertically, things seem to be going super swimmingly The mimosa x orange punch is going to be a monster. I am for sure takin clones of her. @CannaGranny She is already reminding me of how your ATF is taking over the tent. Every single aspect of it seems to grow seamlessly. It overtook the GRC x BBC that is 17 days older. The Blueberry grew up to the net and I'm in love with. The jagged fat leaves are just dope to me. I realllly like the trellis I made and it is because of how it is different than the trellis I bought. The 4 and 6" stretchy trellises I have, you can pull on them and tuck but that is it. With the one I made I can move each square individually and that allows me to more easily direct branching. Really excited to veg them under the screen another couple/few weeks, FIM everything like I am a seasoned pro(will be my 1st time ), top dress and compost tea as if I've done that before too , flip to flower and hope they grow up and make nice nice
