Well my last grow ended with the corners in my tent crashing in……….burns, crushed plants, broken shit BAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH……Anyway, I have added to my arsenal and stuff seems to be turning around. Had some issues with ph and heat the last few weeks of summer but now with the new tent, going to a simple way of thinking and temps coming down everyone seems to be looking happier.

A little larger area, trying to get back on me feet

Flower Area: 18/6 for now
8x4x7 Gromedics tent ( Compared to my old veg tent, this thing is awesome quality, lots of access points, good stiching etc and paid less than $200 shipped)
1k xtrasun MH/HPS Combo with hood (currently MH)
471 cfm extraction to scrubber
4x4 e&f 25 gal
1tblsp per gallon Veg&Bloom 900ppm 1.4ec
tap water @150ish to start
Ph 5.7-6.0
Multiple fans

Veg 18/6
4x4x7 tent
drain to waste
1/4tsp veg & Bloom
same tap
4" extraction to flower tent
CFL array for lights (8, 23 watt 6 blue, 2 red)
Multiple fans for circ

Strains:
1 Seedsman Sugar Haze (the biggest girl) looking to now take some cuttings for the future
3 Maui Kush ( unknown sex from club bagseed)
1 SinCitySeeds Girl Scout Cookie Clone from club (f)
3 Bluediamond seedlings
2-3 Early Girl Cuttings
2-3 Romas? I think…….Basically with the ending veggie garden season I decided to see about keeping some maters and stuff growing thru winter since I have the space…..we shall see

Well I will try and not kill the ladies this time, not let tents fall in and hopefully learn more

Cheers,
UF

I think 'keeping it simple' is some of the best advice- and some of the hardest to follow.

What do you think of that new tomato bud strain? I smoked some but it didn't do anything for me...

Did some rearranging. Decided since its cooling off, Id run my 400 hps in the veg tent and the 1k in the flower. Temps staying 70-75 last 24 hrs so doing good there.

Added a new black cherry soda clone to the veg area. Tomatoes, strawberry's
coming in great. Got my cloner moved into the veg tent, with 6 new cuts of GSC.

Flower tent currently switched to 12/12 as of yesterday. Time to see what kind of females I get out of the maui kush and bluediamond. Also got my 4x4 scrog screen for once we get there. Seen nice growth off the veg&bloom and super easy to deal with. Also took a few pics of some outside garden stuff, and got the chickens moved into there heated area for winter :)

Can you give me some details on your tent collapse? That FREAKED me out. I have 2 600s and an LEP in my 4x6, never really been worried, but never really thought about it. Thanks for any info you have. . .tent brand, size, what was hanging. . . Yikes.

Yep, even got pics :)

It is a generic tent (4x4x6.5) purchased from amazon I purchased about a year and a half ago. Was holding a 400 watt cooltube (the one in my veg tent) and some plastic trellis material I came out one morning and the upper corners had given way (the plastic corners) I assume after over a year the plastic became brittle and gave way. Once one went the other 3 started and by the morning it was half way down. I ordered larger corners from ebay replaced all of them and fixed it, but I will keep much better eye on them now. The new flower tent has metal locking corners , which I looked for in my new tent.

Wow, thanks. Didn't mean to make you recount all those painful memories. Luckily SunHuts also have locking metal corners.
