Today bought couple worm farms from a buddy will post some pics soon.They come in 35 gallon totes with 4 lbs of assorted worms.
Dudes a trip and loves them damn worms like they were his kids.He's been at it along time and I got some really great inside info from what he's observed over the decades.
Had to laugh, he said they love lettuce,green beans,asparagus,etc buuuuuutttt if they had to vote they'd be holding signs yelling we want melons we want melons.he was dead serious lol.
Watermelon,honey dews,cannalopes,any melons you can find apparently in his years have a affect on how much castings they produce but he claims that when feed sweet fruits (no citrus) the buds terpene profiles really shine brighter.
Not sure scientific analysis would back those claims but when a guy has been doing something with awesome results since Jimmy carter was in kindergarten I tend to take they're word ,will def be giving them what they voted for lol.

Id take the word of experience over science any day.it sounds reasonable to me.sure they say thats why cali o tastrs like oranges-coz they were originally grown in soil were loads of orange trees used to grow and shed tons of fruit into the soil.dunno if thats true but...it could be.

BTW - I knew a guy that would add gallons of OJ right before harvest. Maybe 24 hours before. His buds always tasted like OJ. Crappy herb, but nice flavor purely because of the OJ.

But it can lead you down some very interesting & maybe fun paths.

Buddy of mine from cali did some work for the blue dot dudes who in turn gave him a bunch of b.d bud. My guy found around 100 seeds in the couple lbs.
He said that was like 6 years ago.He sent me those the sour bubble and the silver lotus randomly the other day along with a shit ton of vegetable seeds:)

I dislike when evil people cause problems for their own personal gain.
They could do it legitimately withe less negativity created at others expense.
Most of those people have no other motivations than materialistic personal gain :-(

He is a tuff ol vet and was down playing it but I could feel his hurt man I told him it would be a honor if he did me a favor an ran my genetics. I Turned it into like he was doing me huge favor he was really happy.
to me seeing someone who's down and didn't deserve to be uplifted like that is worth 1000 plants.
He's a marine in nam and saw things no human should have to for our freedom..

Really just depends the growers limitations as far as they're setup and circumstances.
I know a guy who starts vegging 5 plants after summer harvest every year bro.First indoor then green house then the final show.

After this year I will be doing something very similar.I'd take 5-10 beasts like that all day then year round cash cropping man it becomes such a grind kind of takes the joy out of it.
The master plan for me after this year is:Harvest,sell,vacation till early February somewhere tropical,back to colorado,veg,harvest,Reapeat lol

Somewhere on the Web I saw some dudes that just grow 20-30 monsters a year an average close to 315 lbs..at 2k a pop man that's sweet!
My retirement bush will be started next year!!!! Ima veg my Dream Beaver for 5 years hell maybe 6 and cash her out as the last $$ crop.
That sounds silly hell,maybe is but to each his own and a few years back my buddy had a pic of his uncles tree on the island of Barbados.. Hooooolllllyyyy sheep shit that damn thing was to big for me to try an guess a yield but if haaaaad to guess probably that was a qtr million dollar tree.Wouldn't have even known it was a cannabis plant it's branches throughout were big around as a basketballs it looked like.
My buddy is in his mid 40's and said Ever since he was a kid he remembers his family babying that tree.

@rmoltis def a art to keeping a bunch of plants tammed that long when don't have tons of space or lights.
I personally don't even let the leafs fully open on the new growth and I'm already topping..ive found doing that stops that little added stretch and when doing a shit load every inch matters....
Hard to see it but that last pic I posted the plant on the bottom right is only around 14 inches tall and has 30 top branches man.
Start veg in feburary,Top soon as can every time ,bend,tie,super crop and lollipop it out and come June throw that bad girl in at leaSt 200 gallons of great soil and you will harvest more off that one plant than most folks harvest in 2 years indoor.
Great trick when the lollipop starts spreading wide indoors is to "bundle" the branches in the middle which draws the plants canopy in tighter.adjust accordinly and when goes outdoors release the cracken:)
A plant going outdoors with 50-70 tops that's well taken care of will kick major ass man.
I'll post more pics pretty soon of what I ment by "bundle" an close ups of the plants that have a bunch of baby tops going.
Many a better grower on here though man so what I say isn't by any means the shizzzznit..
My advice just givin is how I veg usually around 40-60 plants a year usually startin in late February indoor using Gallon 1-3 pots with a max of 3 1k m.h lamps.
The big dogs on this site have it waaaay sweeter with they're badass greenhouses equiped for winter veg but most time I do what I do because my greenhouses are on the grow property an I usually like my babies in the basement so can give them the constant attention they deserve.lol
Then come summer I'll bring them out there,stock up the rr.v and camp out till after harvest.
Plan on taking a vacation this year man its been really hard. I think might have to literally put my the wife in a hospital man like she developed damentia or something been randomly pulling my gun on me lately and threatening to shoot me.I just say make it a head shot but its statting to get bad.hoping to get the kids college funds together b4 she pulls the trigger on me.lol
