This strain is Kong..last topping session is done will stretch all of July growing to probably around about a 7-12 lb bush.
Snowed a lot this year so got a later start then usual but all is looking good now:)
She's in about a yard of soil aka 200 gallons. Soil mix is a 25% top soil 25%compost 20/20% spagnum/vermiculite.
Nothing but natural teas proud to say no nutrient company is getting my $$ this season :) will post more when back around civilization

Orange juice from GGG..really musky lady so is the mendo breaths from GGG..just topped off this girl again might do it one more time to add more yield and keep the stretch to a minimum.
Bodhi gear looking great to will post pics soon.
It's still contested if people should top there plants or not, what a shame.

Thanks brother super excited over here.. didn't get to do as many as usual this year was hectic..voodoo,wcsd,kong,oj,mendo breath, apalachian super skunk, blue dot, sour bubble, dream beaver, headband x lbl, snow temple all i got to run but I suppose could be a lot worse.lol
Sometimes less is more though and each plant is on schedule to be pretty damn big and I get to really pamper each lady so all is well.

Excited about this one already flowering pretty good:) won't be going with the soil company I used this year though I kind of got screwed by them.
Soil tailored for cannabis growth is lost on some folk and they were dishonest about there mix.Was to late to do much but even with sub part soil this one turned out pretty good.
This is the voodoo she's already stacking crystals and stinks to high heaven of purple skunky dank can't wait to see her finish.

I've always done well using my guy upcountry, and I hate that I'll be losing access. He makes his organic mix for veggie growing, and it is FANTASTIC for cannabis. $33/yd.

Howdy, Mr. R. Some of my plants are just around the corner for flowering. Do you recommend more pruning, or is it time to let them go?

Hey bro congrats! Let them go now so they can stretch.saw your plants and you should be very proud!
@Seamaiden sorry to hear that.was a high clay content to this mix.I caught it the 1st time I watered but had already put 3 plants in a yard each. All my others I put into a better mix but I still feel like they jipped me.lol

Heavy clay definitely holds these ladies back. I can see them doing better in a very sandy mix than too heavy with clay.

You are right it really does.I didn't notice it until I watered then was like ooohh shit!
Besides other things high clay is like a shield that doesn't allow the water/nutes to properly penetrate deep down.Hate seeing the ladies in there and to make it worse the 3 I put where the ones I had really prepped indoors.
When the kongs start flowering I'll post some pics.right now they are like 4foot tall and around a 8 ft canopy. They usually get way bigger.
Anyone near Trinidad colorado stay away from the plant nursery on main St by the uhual lol.
I had to spend a lot of extra $$ on peat, coir, vermiculite etc to make it worth a damn that if they would have been worth a damn I wouldn't have had to. At 55 a yard for crap id rather spend double for a good product.
Sound kind of petty maybe but when you know your ladies deserve better it hurts lol

Ill be putting in my "inverted" trellis and top trellis soon..
Have to protect against hail up here but with strong winds scared to trellis yet in fear of the plastic acting like a sail and sailing off with all my pot lol.
I'll remove the plastic from the top end of August then trellis.
I see outdoor grows where the ladies are wide out in the open and I think damn they're lucky!! Our hail is so destructive sometimes you really have to have everything covered up here. That with 40-70 mph wind gusts really makes growing up here hectic and preplaning is a must.

Thanks bro hell yours are gorgeous I love that pic with the bottle and that damn trunk so a compliment from you is badass:)
I love sculpting the plants:) many of benefits especially depending the growers climate...mine is very low humidity so no worries of over crowding/development of bud rot type problems..
Also I try to get it so every bud on the plant is as great as the next with as less undeveloped buds as I can get.
When they are short, stout, wide and the bush is trellised the high winds aren't as likely to damage them.
Definitely enjoy this time of year am truly blessed to be in this type of situation:) Thanks you guys much respect to all you dudes
