No problem at 100% intensity overnight.

I had to reconnect early to my exterior exhaust vent just now... It smelled just a little musty down there this morning. (I don't usually grow in the summer for various reasons including but not limited to, bugs, vacations, heat, humidity etc...) My Rh will take a hit before I flip her but better to be safe than sorry.

Snuck in just now while the plant was sleeping to release a couple dozen ladybugs. (Follow up precautions on the bug scare last night)

No signs of invasion. Clean traps today again. I think it was a little mosquito... Only interested in me. Lol

I had to reduce the light intensity to 75% today again. She's working hard but struggling to keep up.

I'm noticing how consistently dark green this plant is and has been. (That's different from other strains I've done. Most of them I have to make an effort to keep the green in the leaf in varying degrees. The GG4 I grew a year or so back was dark in the leaf like this one. No problems with those though...) Some older leaves still have the claw, indicating nitrogen toxicity to some degree. The new growth is not showing any signs of nitrogen issues. But the whole plant is still showing a little stress at any given time. Again I'm leaning towards the severe high and low stress training she underwent just over a week ago... I'm alternating light feedings and flushes, tonight if I need to water, I'll add another very light dose of silicate to the flush...

So close for cloning, but I can't take clones from an unhappy plant...

Patience.

Moving forward... Close, lots of clones in there to choose from, lots left over to flower!

Since this grow seems to be about experimentation I'm going to attempt to average out her feedings. She's going dry on a two day water cycle. 1.5 liters day 1, 0.5 day liters day 2 (3 gallon pot of peat)

Going forward I'm going to go in at just under a liter a day, half a liter at hours 2 and 6 every day. More irrigated than watered... If I need to I can spread that out further through the day... If she keeps drinking it... I have the time, and I think she's going to need it moving forward. I've created a monster in a 3 gallon pot... Really wishing I'd have gone bigger pot wise, but given the long road to now... I'm not pulling her out of her fabric pot. Irrigation is the way! We used to grow half pound plants out of 6" blocks all day long at the farm...

Current EC/ph 1.3 & 6.5
Adding,
pH perfect M/G/B - 2.5 ml gallon each
Calimagic - 2.5 ml gallon
Potassium silicate - 0.5 ml gallon

Keeping the lighting in "pre vegetative" until after clones are cut...
Kind K5 XL 1000 wifi
75%Blue/White/Micro max
55%red max
16 hour light day

Day temp range- 24 - 27 Celcius
Night temp range - 21 - 23 Celcius
Rh daily range - 65% - 75%
(You calculate the VPD!)
Air turnover inside the tent. - 125 cfm
Cubic feet inside the tent - 125
Circulating fans (stationary) place in each corner (varying positions...)

...
...
... Inwardly, I want a pound from this bitch in 9 weeks lol. Call me crazy...

Just mowed all of the unproductive undergrowth, cleaning up my clones a couple days in advance.

2' in diameter @ 12" tall. I need bamboo stakes...

Counted out 17 good clones throughout the plant last night with many more up and coming. I need to strip her strategically leaving enough in the right places so she can fill out in flower... Lol I was hoping for a couple dozen good clones.... I'll get that and more.

The cubes are prepped (again) I left the pH at 5.8 this time. (Not experimenting here, the process works.)

32 hours. Then I can look at flipping her over finally.

** a couple of bugs showed up on my traps this morning in the big tent... Ladybugs... A few more laying dead around the tent... silicates in the water... I think my tent is clean.

Going well! Cloning tomorrow!

It went very well and doubled as a pre-flip pruning! I too k a lot from her... She was providing such nice little babies though. 😬

I doubled down, rooting gel and powder... My average dropped to about 60% for surviving clones last time, I thought this might help... I also replaced the gel, I will not dip directly into the damn container without thinking ever again lol.

Shooting for 100% survival rate here. The dome will stay on for most of the next 5 days with the vents closed. I will open it once a day to wipe down excess condensation and sterilize the inside.

What remains of my mother plant.

I figure I'll make the flip next Sunday, give her a week and a bit to recover a little.

12 hours in post cloning.
No wilting or drooping visible in any clones!
I was playing with an 18/6 light schedule the last couple rounds of cloning. The first time went very well, the second time I lost a few clones from the batch. I've decided on a 24 hour light schedule for the first week, after which I will start introducing them to a night cycle... A few hours a day to start out....

Asking as a genuine question as I have no experience with the matter: what light intensity do you use for clones?

2x 2' 24 watt EDK LED suspended 2' above the plants... I bounce around... Sometimes i use 1500k T5's or a combination of both. The wattage per square foot is always the same (24) as well as the height of the lights.

Day 2. Couldn't ask for a much better start. They look good today.
