The Lactic Acid Bacteria is nearly complete.. stoked. I might get by not having to do anymore compost teas with this stuff. It's a super microbial bacteria that aids the soils consumption of the organic materials we add to the soil.

I didn't have a cheese cloth on hand at the time, little unprepared. I ended up giving it to my dog. I now have the cheesecloth (just got in today) so I just might do it on the next batch. Waste not want not. Should last a while in the fridge, thinking 6 months..

I have to do an update on the wood ash use or a disclaimer if you will, it's a very alkaline product. It's suggested not to use it if your soils pH is above 6.5. I dropped 2/8ths of a teaspoon to a gallon of water and the pH of that was 9.1. Kind of high. I was able to get that down to 7.5, I just don't know how well a 10 gallon pot could buffer such a high pH. Something to think about. I'm asking around to see if other folks use it right now. If anyone here uses it please chime in and let us know how that's working out for you.

Thanks. There's a lot on the pH of this and different camps swear at it, and some swear by it .. so far so good, plants are still alive. I've been using straight tap water and pH it down with a little Apple Cider Vinegar. My tap is hard water heavy with calcium carbonate. The idea behind using the vinegar is that it will break down the calcium carbonate into a usable calcium. And lower the pH. So we'll see .. so far so good.

sounds like a good plan to me. i have good luck with ashes and its natural.

Thanks, I was worried to be honest, that stretch sucked a lot out of the ladies. Was not prepared for it. I should have been but now have a deeper understanding for it.

And we will be chopping this Wednesdays. Just gave the ladies the last mistings of water this morning. I'm tempted to open up the vents (pull off the covers) at the bottom of the tent for max ventilation. With three days to go, would a little light leak do that much harm? I dropped the lighting to 50%.

And we just chopped. Took the pots to the garage, and vacuumed the bottom of the tent real good. turned off the fans. last time I dried in that tent leaving a fan on caused some uneven drying. The main exhaust fan will stay running at a minimum of 2 (infinity 4" fan) with an auto setting set at 58 humidity. The lung room has the humidifier set to 60%. I'm really happy with the Super Silver. It is a producer. The OG, not so much. Probably my last attempt of that strain. I'll chime in later on (4 weeks) after some dry and curing for close up shots of the buds.

Yep DJ Short was saying because of the tropical climate by the equater is 13/11 and 11/13 for light cycle if i remember right. Which makes sense why the sativas flower so long, they have less daylight to work with.
I think I just saw the same interview probably, it was really cool. ✌
