It depends on the club. I need to vend to keep the lights on. Words like "poison" "death" "crack" turn off a certain demographic of members, mainly woman. They simply won't try it, and that's a shame because it kicks ass. No contradiction, just a solid strain that some don't like the name at this point. I personally don't care, but would care if I was to open an up-scale facility. I would rather get "Crack" out of the name for broader marketability come hybrid time. Just some stuff that I pay attention to after being in the Bar business for years. Not personal at all Sos! Good question.

I once offered a female friend some green crack and she responded with revulsion.

Ok folks, male selection time! On the Tahoe Alien side it was a clear and easy choice, there were only two. Here's the breeder:

This guy is a Scroggers dream! He has hundreds of budsites, developed 10+ tops with one FIM, reeks to high heaven, is strong/balanced and has good size. I'm very happy with this guy, he is the best looking guy even over all of the ARC males. I wish the ARC choice was this easy!

OK, now the hard part. I need your help with this pick. I have narrowed it down to 3, they are in order from smallest to biggest, here we go:

#3:

#3 made the finals even though he is significantly smaller than the other two because he has the most branching. See the third pic compared to the others. I am not sure of the value compared to size but this will have the most budsites.

#8:

And last, #6

Hmmm, this pic brings perspective. I'm going to throw out the middle #8. Let's talk about #3 and #6. There is a nice contrast between the two. Basicly, the smaller #3 has more budsites but they may bee too crowded in the middle. #6 is big and strong but not lanky. Tighter node spacing also goes to #3.

I threw out the two smallest, and the tallest ARC males. With the keepers I rubbed the stems and they all smell the same. I need to know how important all those small budsites are on #3. If they are a clear indicator of a winner than #3 is it.

I will be moving these outside today and will keep them all until Friday. I'll update if looks/smells change. Thanks for your help with this, I am just not experienced enough to pick a clear winner.

Whats poppin BD, them males all look respectable bro. Unfortunately i dont know shit about male selections, and ill be askin for help with my FPOG males due to that. Goin by ur post up above, i think #3 would get the call for me. close nodes all the way bro. But like i said, i dont know squat so take with a grain of salt mang

Peace
Ken

You are just going to collect pollen correct if that is the case I would go with #8 as he is a strong fellow and seems to lean more towards the Tahoe Alien side and you will collect enough pollen from either of the three. So in that case I would take the strongest male not based off of bud sites but plant structure. By no means am I a breeder though have only pollen chucked once. I would shoot that picture to Alien and get the opinion of the creator himself - There is a picture of a ARC male in my thread(that you have yet to visit...lol) and Alien stated it was a keeper and it seems similar to number 8 .......so my vote is # 8 ......peace soser

Those boys look healthy. I'd like to see the eliminated ones, BirdDog!

You got it! I already culled the other Tahoe Alien male. He was tall/lanky with crazy wide node spacing. He began to collapse in veg so he got the boot. Here are the ARCs:

#2 which has the most purple on the leaves but is the shortest (far left):

#13 (second from the left):

#7 the overall biggest, second from the right:

The monster on the far right is the keeper Tahoe Alien.

Hey Sos, #8 is my pick at the moment also!

I'm afraid I have to interupt the Alien stud male conversation temporarily, and instead show some bud porn! The Green Crack is coming down, I snapped a couple pics while the sun was still out. I'll post more after the harvest is done....
