4 what it's worth, try som bio bizz fish-mix numbers r 2-0-4.

i talked to the tea maker or whatever at Root Bloom n they shot some good info to me, 1st fuck botaicare sweets for tea's why? cuz there isn't any sugars in it, it's Cal Mag n sulfer read the bottle while it is good for plants to use to help the build sugars. it's not tea worthy, or in other words it's salts. instead use fish-mix cuz of the low P witch kills bennies, if u can't get fish-mix go to hm depot n c if the have ground fish meal but go for Fish-Mix 1st as it is made using a cold process n fish meal is made with heat killing of ton's of the good stuff in the fish. if u can't get either 1 of those, then go for the molasses. he said molasses works, but it only works on some species with the fish-mix u breed more types of fungi.

he told that the fish-mix will rise the PH, so use a lil molasses to lower it without killin off some of ur bennies.

my tea in the order i make it
4 gals water in 5 g bucket
2 heaping table spoons of cap root n foliar pack
1 healthy table spoon for root blooms
fat handful of worm casting
25 ml of hibrix molasses
60-80mls fish-mix
let it bubble for 24-48 hr's, mines start to get crazy with the foam around 16-20 hr's in, gave a gal n a half to a friend the other day n he was blown away by the results said tea shitted on my past teas swears he seen diff in his girls the next day.

if u do use fish-mix do it in da garage or the woman/girl in ur life will biiiiitch!!

How often do you add the tea to rez? Every time I water do I use the tea or do I add tea every other watering or so? I don't know how much longer I can experiment with the tea I am bleeding money like Carrie on prom night, I already lost two harvests due to my lack of experience with it. I'm making ajustments but don't want to go bankrupt in the process!

I'm not using it. Came a cross is recently, and supposed to be good for hydro. May not jive with cap's beneficials though.

Fatzip, let's keep this thrad about tea recipes please. It's starting to get a little cluttered. You can start a thread in the strain section if you like, or post up a journal of your grow. I am sure everyone would be stoked on that.

That recipe for tea and maybe a little extra P and K would be all you need to produce a great product, good enough to restack you chips... Add the tea every week for the best results..If you can't afford more dilute it a little more 10/12:1

The organic shit used to make these tea recipes is super cheap, shop around

Please follow my simple recipe in the first thread. If your plants are gettign fucked, I think you may have another issue. Can you post some pics of yoru plants and perhaps decribe what is going on in the infirmary, and then link that thread here so I can check it out and help you diagnose?

The tea is a 1x per week, or every other week. Not every watering. it is 1 cup of tea per 5 gallons of nutrient solution. I add it to a recirculatin res every week (when I chaneg my water), or to a DTW res every week.. res is empty in 3 days and I have a pump that recirculates when the drippers kick on for 3 minutes a day.

Do you ever find your drippers clogging at all? I love running tea directly in my res but after setting up some top-feed rings I've noticed they don't like the organics so much. So I crawl on my hands and knees to spray tea directly on the roots every week.

Several symptoms doc, one whole side of my room is stunted with small leaves that almost all turned yellow and the stems are red or purple I don't know right now not at that lab but will post better pictures tomorrow. The other side of the room about half are stunted and the other half are normal size but even the ones that are normal size the leaves have turned really yellow and the buds did not produce as much thc as normal and the bud didn't swell as large as normal. I used tea and nutes on this show and the last which I hope was the mistake and I plan to correct on this go around, but if unsuccessful then I might have to throw in the towel for right now. First pic are of the bad flowering room and last pics are of new run veg room. Thanks for the help;)

I looked back at first thread and I can see a few mistakes that im making. One is that I was using nute pack with every tea the other is I think I was adding too much tea. Before I was using gh flora nova from beginning to end at low levels with very little pure waterings if any and didn't have any problems so I think with the tea I might be over doing it, I will cut back, but since I started your tea recipe I add more shit to it should I stop using the extra shit. The pic + fish mix

1 time a week is good, also better if u don't add it to ur res as the salts kill em from what the tea maker told me thats why he didn't rec botanicare sweets cuz it basicly it epson salts. it works great as a flush, i felt that when i feed tea str8 it kind of mucked things up so (in rockwool) i think 3-4 gals of tea into 20-25 gal of water is good 4 a flush inbetween feedings.

if u do add to ur res u may need to need to drop air stones in there n i would use sweets in that case, i've used molasses n it makes nasty shit in the res that would more likely gunk up n hurt ur roots instead of help. i use to use great white in my res with sweets n i deff noticed the diff, shit kept my res hella cleaner then be4 i used em. i didn't have a chiller so shit got nasty in my res till i started using great white, but i no longer have a res so i don't worrie bout no more.

i remember the 1st time i made tea i copied caps posted recipe using botanicare sweets n some worm castings, my tea was producing foam in a matter of hours n it was good stuff i started seeing my roots do things they never had done be4. to me it seems like the molasses sets the foam back some hours, but when it comes it'll get nasty thats why i don't like it in my res.

yea thats ku too, but i like to make mine strong so i do it that way. at 4 gals of tea to 2o gals of water thats like 16-17% pure tea, that aint too bad imo.

Yes. The salt levels in your nutrient solution are not nearly enough to kill the bennies. They will be just fine.

If you are in soil and you are using the nute pack, you will be able to cut back on your nutes by a significant amount. It's important to learn how to feel what your plants need and cut back when necessary. Many times, less is more! keep it simple. I have a strong feeling you are overdoing it trying to "fix". We all have been there. It's important when you see symptoms to not panic and start throwing more "cures" at the plant. Generally the best thing to do is flush with a very mild nutrient solution (25% of peak) and wait for things to get better. It takes time for plants to respond. It will not happen overnight or even a few days. I had a pH problem in my MPB this round and the plants that were affected took weeks to recover.

Experience will help you diagnose. That, and using this site as a tool for help instead of a place to brag when things look good in the garden.

Yes drippers can get clogged with organics. I like to pour full strength tea in to the crown these days. I also add in to the res but I do not experience plugged drippers often. I keep a stocking over a filter that is on the inlet, so I do not get fine particles.

I was adding 4 gallons of tea to my 32 gallon trash can in veg and 4 gallons of tea to my 65 gallon trash can, well more like 45 gallon because I cant fill it up now it leaks, but the instructions I got was for 1 cup per 5 gallons too. I will cut back to the instructions at the beginning of the thread!

Cap do u use molasses in ur tea when u hit em with full strength tea? also when u say pour into the crown does that mean u just pour a ku amount on the top but not enough to come out the bottom?

i was wondering if maybe the 80-100mls of molasses into 4 gals of water for the tea was too much molasses to be pouring at full strength n maybe that was the prob.

1 more thing i remembered a min ago reading caps recent posts, if ur in soil i don't think u need tea as often like some1 in coco or rockwool as they don't live as good in those mediums like they would in soil.
