THC vs THCA what's the real difference?

As others have stated, the synthetic crap in hemp is awful idk how but I know now that they cook it up from vats of cbd so that right there probably adds a metabolic step. I imbibed shitloads of thco (edible form is probably only "safe" option) and even mixed it with Marijuana from a plug. Certainly got me a bit too high for a while. I started on piff and what not at 15th birthday (32 in feb) and I gotta say that it is really sad what hemp did but I talk any shit on it anywhere else? Not even allowed to basically which makes me wonder how much of a conspiracy is at play. Maybe people just like strong synthetic bullshit. It did help me kick alcohol a minute. Also I hear the thca seed to soil is same seed, they just cut the crop down 2 weeks early so I'd love to add all that to Marijuana, probably has additional benefits. Seed to soil thca is all that will save the federale legality industry omfl. I mean it's gotta be bad - the legal boof aka the synthetic noids. Only upside since I first bought into it has been that it helped me build credit as a disabled person. I really really gotta stick to Marijuana again and never ever drink again. Another interesting thing that could be worth it besides the natural thca would be the fly amanita mushroom vapes but don't get flavored bullshit - get from a courier such as GothamMeds. Certainly planning a vacation with shit from there lmfao. I use them and DingDongDank tbfh they rule. Remember reputable companies and natural thca seed to soil flower is about all that worth it but if u got a good plug for mj stick with that. The most interesting and quaint comparison I heard bout the thca hemp flower is it is more raw so think sushi - where as mj is cooked fish, idfk though even that sounds sketch kinda. I bet that shit actually great for anyone though so maybe they trying to make up for the synthetic junk they keep dumpin into the stoner environment. I do got a bone to pick. Been eating shrooms since 16 BTW but not massive doses most I done been maybe 10g extract equivalent. I always take at least a slice though. Yous don't wanna see what they doin there in terms of "legal" alternatives, kinda tragic as well. That I will not try - I admit that if I try fake federale shrooms? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. From what I can gather, it sounds like thca flower is just weed like any other and always has been. They just call it something different so they can sell it in places that aren't licensed to sell weed...a legal technicality. So if I buy thca flower at a gas station, it's not different than the weed I buy at a dispensary. Am I correct?

it isn't much different but hemp dudes basically grabbed a bunch cannabis seeds and cut it down 2 weeks early so that it abides by the 0.3% d9 thc rule. Marijuana has 1-3%

Ok. I see. But once the thca flower is smoked or vaped, then it converts to thc giving it the same affect as if it wasn't cut down a couple weeks early, right? Or is it less potent?

Its labled as thca because it looks like there is more thc content in the bud as the numbers are larger its a marketing scam.

Thc is thca thats been decarbed into thc. Your body will not absord the thca untill its been heated by a stove or a flame and converted to usable thc.

When decarbing the thca you will unfortunatly lose some thca to the heat so in the end your final thc numbers are going to be lower than the thca numbers.

Hope thos helps and there is no way to measure the amout of thca you will pissibably lose due to decarb because there are so many different techniques to decarb. Hit me up if your looking to decarb and i can explain it in greater detail. If ypur burning your bud no nedd to decarb.

And diamonds are a 100% thca so dont try to eat diamonds they need to be burned otherwise you wont get the effexts of the thc

in my honest opinion a Marijuana equivalent product is always gonna be a bit stronger directly due to that 0.3 rule and the fact they have older cultivars (idk anything bout growing but I think that is correct usage of the word). they got some good stuff at local gas station and liquor store now tbfh. it is practically the same and really quite nice when infused. Best online shops I've tried for hemp have been Boston Hemp Inc and Arete, probably those two. also I'm kinda speculating with everything I write here because I'm just a consumer. I think it actually is kinda good they are making/discovering alternative noids but they gotta do it seed to soil because yea even the seeds are probably modified somehow. I skimmed through all the posts to see how everyone is understanding this hemp jazz because yea some it good but more than some probably isn't. I ain't touching anything anymore unless it is seed to soil. I did probably exaggerate any potential conspiracy because probably just trying to make it so they can legally ship it around but the fine print def makes it so you cannot sue them if they fuck up or sell ya something shitty or toxic. thcv is exciting though considering my mom's bones are doin awful.

One of the major differences between THC and THCA is that THCA will not, under any circumstances, get you high. Thus, you can eat raw cannabis as much as you’d like, and though you may still see some benefits from it, you will not get a buzz.

When we intake THC, this molecule travels through our body via the bloodstream, eventually passing through the blood-brain barrier inside our heads. From there, the THC molecule “binds” to (or “antagonizes”) specially-designed cannabinoid receptors (known as “CB1 receptors”) located on the cells within our brain; much like a puzzle piece sliding into place, these cannabinoids “fit” precisely into our receptors, giving us the buzz often sought after from smoking (or eating) marijuana.

THCA cannot work like THC. Whereas THC has a chemical makeup that our cannabinoid receptors can utilize, THCA has an additional carboxylic acid chain attached, essentially making it too oddly shaped to go inside our receptors.

THCA is the natural form of the THC molecule as found inside cannabis plants – THCA turns into THC when exposed to heat (and light, though more slowly), meaning that while eating raw cannabis won’t do anything for you, as soon as you apply the right amount of heat you’re now converting this THCA into THC via a process called “decarboxylation.”

That is what I am curious about. Will they close that door? Stop the pharmaceutical industry from riding on the weed-train? If I had to bet, I would wager that the new Farm Bill will punish Mom and Pop and set free the pharmaceutical industry.

Spend 200 get 20% off kinda deal or 10 purchases get something free etc. There are 2 non medical dispensaries for every medical dispensary I pass 10 before I can reach a Walmart or a Walgreens . They are that abundant .

I smoke thca cause it's legal here , I can smoke it in front of a police man on my porch and not be breaking the law , but I still flunk a THC drug test . So its THC eventually somewhere in my body obviously cause the proof is in the test! Looks smells the same , sometimes it's better just seems like it fades quicker .

Its easy. Stop over thinking and over complicating. THC-A is Tetrahydrocannabolic acid. This is the way the cannabis plant grows its THC. We, as intelligent humans, figured out that if you add heat to this compound, and then ingest it, you will feel different. AKA high. Basically we figured out how to turn THC-A into delta-9 THC. Delta-8 THC is formed by a chemical process AFTER HARVEST, where chemists basically change CBD into delta-8 THC. Then all the other forms of THC, like THCV, are grown by the plant. THEN, your THC-O is actually THC-O acetate, which is not grown naturally in the plant.

You could also google this stuff. I work at a dispensary, so i know a good amount of it, but googled THC-O and figured that out real quick.

So to summarize, nobody is spraying THC-A on anything and its not on the tests to tell people it wont get them high...... jesus.......... the plant grows it, NOT DELTA 9, and its on the tests to show that the plant contains a form of THC.
