I have a couple of cats that love to get into my bud. It's like catnip to them lol.

Good morning! Hope everybody is staying warm. It's quite nipply out today. For the past two weeks legalization had been all over the news.

What do y'all think? I kinda think it might pass. Fingers crossed.

given the way things are shaping up all over the country I'd say you guys have a shot at it. past experience living in cobb county for a # of years I'd say no way in hell lol. I think the dominoes are falling all over though so it's certainly possible. there's some fire around the peach state to be sure and plenty of folks that partake

Morning all. Spent yesterday shoveling then painting two rooms at home. Today I only have to finish up all the trim. I hope all you farmers have a nice day.

Good morning folks. Gotta go visit my local county ag extension agent today. I really like this gal. She's very friendly, verbose, and takes great pains to help me avoid problems further down the road. EG: selling our eggs. Now, I had understood California's ag farmstand code to allow me to sell my eggs from a stand set at the edge of my property to the general public. Well, last year it seems some rules have changed, and while I can prepare and sell foods made in my home kitchen (cottage food), I cannot, it seems sell my eggs if I use a SIGN. Why? The state has determined that if you put out a sign for eggs (like you'd put out a sign directing people to your farmstand) then it's a business and you need to be licensed. Not permitted, just licensed.

Well I'd been wanting to paint a sign to sell some of our delicious free-range eggs, but hadn't gotten around to it yet. Carrie down at the ag department says, No! No sign! Covering my ass, once again. Love that gal. Wish I could get her family to sell us some of their grazed beef.

Good morning Farm, foggy at the Beach today. No rain in sight. Sea; regulations on regulations. How to complicate selling eggs. It's just an egg. It's just a plant. So much tado about so little.
I am sitting here with the dogs and thinking. I did an indoor grow through the summer last year and fought the heat in August and September. I am not going to do indoor this summer, I will do 6 big outdoor plants instead. I read that Loompa Farms Yeti grows big outdoors. Loompa is putting out an Abominable Yeti that is a Yeti x White (I think). Anybody know if this would be a good outdoor stain. Either one sounds good.

I haven't grown anything that doesn't get HUGE when grown outdoors.

Yeah, the agent and I, we were both surprised at this turn of events, it doesn't jive when you add in the new cottage food laws. But I've been down the business licensing road before, it's not that big a deal, especially since I don't have employees. THAT would make it a huge PITA.

First cup of coffee down, long day ahead.

Kids are home from school on a subzero cold/snow day.

And sisters headed for round 2 of surgery today. very mixed emotions about that. keep going from worried, confused, to mad. and need to keep a straight head today.

I didn't mean to bring depression to the thread, just had to get a thought or two out there.

For the record, it is cold as hell out side. 4° last i checked, not including wind chill.. brrrrr!

Off to get more coffee, stay warm people.
