Haha awsomeOMG :woot:
Have you done your Hail, Mary's and genuflection yet? LMFAO!
And here I felt bad for selling a kid I didn't like a bag of oregano. But he puked on the weed!
So has anyone heard of a new product called Soylent? I am not making it up and I am not talking about Soylent Green.
Lol,I know. For me I'd like to try it as a reboot. ;)Uhhh... whoa.
I think they're counting on their target demographic to never have heard of Soylent Green. That's what I think.Wow, Why would he name his product something that is linked with forced cannibalism?
Interesting concept, marketing leaves some to be desired if its a real product and not created by "The Onion"
Controversial names/things grab your attention and hold it.Look at the kardashians,no one really likes them or how they live their life yet millions tune in to watch the trainwreck every week. There is a saying that says the only difference between good advertising and bad advertising is that bad advertising is free.Soylent obviously is trying to capitalize on that which to me says they do not have faith their product can stand on its own merits. It will probably be gone within a year or so but not before the shock value loving owners line their pockets as much as they can.^^^^Or maybe just the opposite???! :greedy:^^^^
He states on his website that he named it after Soylent Green. In this day and age, and his target demographic, who would not google that?I think they're counting on their target demographic to never have heard of Soylent Green. That's what I think.
