Stainless steel French press my wife bought me. Really makes good coffee. all those coffee makers now a days have plastic in them. don't trust plastic as it leeches out bad Ju Ju.
We grind up organic French roast beans make a nice strong brew with raw fresh jersey cow cream or heavy whipping cream if raw is not available...
Along with morning wake bake fattie, makes a great start to a busy day. clear and cool here in the HIGH, very High mountain desert...............

i just went out to let the dogs out..Our oldest dog Roxie died last night :(
I knew she was close last night, she wasnt her happy self. I gave her lots of love
and she was sleeping in her bed when I went to sleep last night

She lived a long time for a great dane.
I loved her alot..cant wait to see her again.

But I mostly am sad for our other dog..she wont leave Roxie
I know she needs to pee and poop...but she wont leave
she just wants to sit with Roxies body :(
Very sad:depressed:

Sorry about that @caregiverken. Our pets become our children. I have a 19 yr old poodle that's blind and now becoming incontient. Other than that she's fine.

Damn Ken, wasn't that just a few weeks back the old goat bought the farm? I'm really sorry to hear about your sweet pup. Danes are just the best... Dogs are just the best. Indeed she'll be waiting for ya in her prime one of these days. I can't wait to catch up to a few of my old friends.

Sorry to hear ken! Our dogs become such close companions its always so sad when they pass.

sorry to hear...brought a tear to my eye picturing that...My old gal is kinda losing it, they are much better company than most people I've met:cool:
Just remember the quality time you spent with her...:angelic:

Thanks for the condolences everyone ..It's sad, but we knew she didnt have long
Its killing me to see her life long friend greive though!

Im tring to figure that out right now Sea :(
She is big! She weighed 102 at the vet last month..
The ground is rock hard..but there are a few huge holes the dogs dug over the years
One is like a cave..I might be able to fit her in there :(
I think im going to call and see what it costs to have her cremated:sour:

Do you know anyone with a backhoe? That's what Dave did for me for my old girl when it was her time. She's under the big black oak by the house now.

It took her a good two weeks to get back to normal after Missy had to be put down, too. IIRC the vet told me it'd be $200 or so to have the dog cremated with an urn.

No Sea, I dont know anyone with a back hoe..
We need to hire someone to fill all the holes the dogs dug
We had three dogs running on 2 acres for8 years and now its like the moon with craters everywhere

I dont need an ern. I dont want the ashes..
I just need to get rid of this huge dog body now, before it starts to stink

My son is 17 and he will NOT drink coffee unless made by him in his French press ...looks just like yours...good taste Chickenman. MGG

Sorry to hear this. I went through the same thing over the summer. It took a few weeks before the girls got over their man of the house being gone. It was very sad and hard, to not only deal with my best friend in the world passing, but also seeing the girls grieving made it just a lil tougher. Sorry for your loss. RIP Roxie. MGG
