Thanks Shayne. A lot of it is good genetics but also figuring out the strains requirements over the past few runs helps too. Growing is learning. Keep at it and you'll get there. Do you have a grow diary going?wow they look awesome db. hope mine turn out like this. i doubt they will - as im still trying to learn what sups to add
Good point. The difference between running 750W of HID or 650w of LED isn't that big in terms of power expenses. And new lamps once a year I'd wager would still be cheaper than initial purchase or replacement cost of an LED when it gives up the ghost. As far as I know they also have a best before date. I'd be ventilated either way so in that regard it wouldn't make much difference.
And a used HID setup can always be resold. An old worn out LED I don't think would get you much money back when you're done with it.
I'd just be looking at overall return on investment.
If you ask me what I think would be ideal, it's 100% a sealed, enriched room with 1K LED lighting. Hands down I'm sold on this technology. It's unreal how far it came so quick, and if I was setting up a long term legit LP or something.. LED and gassed all the way. The lights would be a business write off anyway.Good point.
dude, i was looking at some Phototek or Gavita lights. Their money for a sealed room with co2 and i love how it stimulates the morning and evening. If you ask me what I think would be ideal, it's 100% a sealed, enriched room with 1K LED lighting. But from a practical low brow perspective, the 750-1000wDE really does have a place still.
Yeah if I had money to burn on a setup, you can really geek out on this shit now. It's really Fn cool actually.dude, i was looking at some Phototek or Gavita lights. Their money for a sealed room with co2 and i love how it stimulates the morning and evening.
hey can i ask you how you plan to dry again?Yeah if I had money to burn on a setup, you can really geek out on this shit now. It's really Fn cool actually.
Harvest process should go a little something like this.hey can i ask you how you plan to dry again?
the first 24 hours after chop ?
ok sweet thanks. i will probably try something similar.Harvest process should go a little something like this.
After an 18 hr long last day with the lights on cycle run at 68f and rh around 60, I'll cut and then hang in the room for a full day at 68f and the humidity in the low 40's, high 30's with fans creating a lot of airflow.
Day 2 I'll lower temp to 60f and rh 60%, and reduce the room air circulation quite a bit, and keep it that way for around 2 weeks.
Makes a big difference if you can slow dry in a cool controlled environment.ok sweet thanks. i will probably try something similar.
my previous harvest i was not able to get the temps low enough for a nice slow dry but can now
You do the whole crop like that? Or just a bit to smoke?HA! We've been using our LEVO to dry and we are smoking in 4 hours from harvest, dried and decarbed.
It's not the best tasting, but it's still pretty good. A cure will fix the flavor. But its really nice not to wait 2 months to smoke some.
You mean like how its made? I have. Interesting technology.have you ever heard or looked into gibberellin biosynthesis?
Yeah it is on an automated irrigation system. Currently feeding 4x per day.Are you using a watering system dirtbag? Walk to wall I like that.
