Ok, this may be a stupid Q, but how many pharmacies are near schools?CVS, Walgreens?And, dont you have to be of certain age and have a med card to go in 1?Just Sayin! peace,fuzzy

because norcos and oxy's are controlled by the feds, and pain managment drs are protedcted by the feds and the medical board

Right now its because MMJ shops are too close to schools..whats next? too close to shopping malls? then too close to sporting events, them too close to whore houses, too close to military bases? too close to grocery stores, etc etc.

There is an old phrase termed "death by a thousand cuts." Big Gov is quite good at slowly whittleing away our rights and freedoms (in every mother-fucking aspects of our lives)

Ding ding ding! On the nosey! This has been my question all along. So we're pushing for legalization, but for what??? So they can still penalize us for growing our own meds? Cuz you better BELIEVE they will. If Pharma is making cannabis meds and charging out the wazoo, cuz they DO markup by HUGE amounts, do you really think they will let us grow our own or even have someone grow it for us? Hell no. Then they're losing money. And we know it's ALL about the money. Yeah, it'll be rescheduled as a narcotic, I'm betting, and then let the games begin. I've got my glass of wine and my SSV bowl ready to sit back and watch. :)

i believe this is their endgame, but not for us to set up dispensaries or even to decide for ourselves how we ingest it, only to permit big pharma to do "real medicine", so no legal mmj the way we think of it, theyll prob crackdown on smokers. pills and sprays chemically synthesized using marijuana. you can have the medicine but the plant will still be illegal and punishable. they can even raise the penalty for having the plant if only the meds are legal. like growing opium poppys will get me locked up, but ive got a cupboard full of vicodin norco percoset oxycodone n whatnot thats perfectly fine. we'll see, not like theres anything we can do to stop whats happening so pull up a chair n wait till it happens... :bong2:

It was/is illegal still in many places, and people still grow it.
rescheduling would benefit pharma companies more. Then it would have a medicinal benefit yet only be able to be prescribed.

It seems like they are acknowledging some legitimacy here by distinguishing some MMCs as ok but others not.
