I would expect the same counties/towns who sought out tax benefits from the widespread sales of MMJ to follow the same path with retail sales of weed to the Average Joe, dopegeist.

The resort towns may/may not buy in. As with MMJ....many towns were worried about outside appearances and losing business to out of towners who AREN'T used to any of this if there was a ski shop..then a pot shop...then a ski shop..then a t-shirt shop...then a pot shop on Main street....yaddayadda on and on and on.... Many towns will say NO...but the county they are in will says YES...so access is somewhat thwarted but not out of the question to those with a brain. OOOps... nevermind.... that's why we "need" retail sales in the first place...uhumm....

My thought....and I'm VERY surprised this hasn't been going on already >somewhere< in-state...is that some restaraunts/bars may offer some sort of late night gatherings centered around getting high. As it IS now....someone could close their establishment...say at 10pm to the general public....and then...at 10:30...open back up to a MMJ specific crowd and allow everyone to get high in a PRIVATE setting. Have an "Admission fee"...."Club card"......whatever. As long as the doors are CLOSED to the PUBLIC and the attendees are LEGAL/card carrying folks....it is fully legal NOW to hold a smoke out in a bar/restarant under such conditions. Once things go fully legal..... you could do something similar.... In the resort towns...it would go over like crazy because almost everyone is here from somewhere else that DOESN'T have legal weed....

gonna be crazy to see what comes of it all of it passes.....and how far folks will take it. (far)

I'm getting the feeling that Boulder might not be too hot on more businesses focused on Cannabis, but if you dance enough dollar signs in front of the city leaders their concerns turn to maximizing the opportunity for the public and the public coffers.

I keep holding out hope for the little "support communities" around and near the destination resorts,.....think Eagal, Alma, perhaps even Frisco as production/sales hubs in the high country.

The attempt was already made in the Boulder area, we had several large "Club Venues" ready to sign on but were rebuffed by the city council ~ However if 64 passes i see absolutely no reason this idea would not fly, they let anyone pay a temporary fee to join a "club" in saltlake city Utah so that visitors can consume alcohol on vacation, or more exactly in a "private setting" as you get out of the city proper and go to the Resort areas the local bars often offer the same kind of "Temporary Membership" so non locals can imbibe,......this could be a hugely successful model if the law of our land becomes legal to consume in a controlled environment!!!
