ok so what would a late FOURM cut grow be with out some FNing problems per FNing usual..
ok so here we are mid 30 in flower on sunday things looked pretty good on monday morning things still seemed good but the plants had a bit of color change from dark green to a lighter green here and there on the plant, so at this point i FEED them very low dosage to be sure and this morning this is what i see..
this first pic is how all the shit starts, notice the discoloration in the overall leaf aswell as that nasty looking patch down the center of the middle leaf..
this problem ALWAYS starts like this a discoloration start then the dark patch, and this is usualy just here and there not really at the bottom middle top its just where ever here and there.......this is where i know im in trouble yet again..
the next day maybe the day after the leaf begins to curl on the leaf-lit that had the bigger dark patch the day before and you get to see this bullshit start happening..
at this point this is where i jump for joy because my old problem has come back for a nasty little family get together.....
this pic alone tells a story in of its self because you can clearly see a couple things going on in it....
1.slight fert burn of a few tips, straight over fert sure but not likly...
2.diff of some kind possible but not likly...
3. some type of bug nope not at all, not this late in the game...
now not to get of the subject but here is her sister and she has been treated exactly the same in ever way..
the only difference in the two plants is that one has been dusted and one has not, the one^^^ dusted is showing no signs of the problem her sister is going through.....umm not quit sure why that is but if i were to guess and i am here id say its because she is indeed carring seeds and has been uptaking nutes much faster then here sister to suply her self with the ferts needed to continue to produce her seeds??.....
ok so back to the problem at hand umm im kinda glad this is happening at this point because im learning more about this plant then i had been in the past for-sure...
now usualy in the past when this has happened i do what i know is the next step i FLUSH the plant and in most cases bingo thats the ticket and after a few days things go back to normal but AHHH this cut is not a natural plant, not for me any ways...
i got my bucket of water i PHed it to 6.4-6.5 i ran the first gallon through waiting waiting to see the color of the run off and expecting it to be piss yellow like most over-ferted plant run off looks like but no hell no it was damn near as clear coming out as it was going in, so im thinking well shit ive flushed enough plants to know that this plant is NOT over-ferted at all..
humm scratch head and say ok whats next well took a minute and though about it and diceded while i have my meter out lets just check the run off water, so i did and bingo i found the culprit to be sure....
flush water went in at 6.4--6.5 and was coming out at 4.4 a full 2 points under where it should be, ok so how did this happen it was not an over night thing this took a bit of time to get to this point....next step was to keep flushing of cource but something else dawned on me at that time and that was to check my meter to see if it was reading correctly so i di, if was off by .4 now thats not a lot but at this stage im PHing at between 6.4 and 6.6 anf if you add .4 to that on an over and over bases it does become an issue with out a doubt.....
so the answer to my Question and the cause of my problems have been the PHbeing out of wack, the plants been flushed the meter have been calabrated and things should get better over the next week..
in the past with this cut an OVER-FERT was my problem and it took me a great long while to get that through my head about the soil i was useing combind with the ferts i was useing...
i have got that under control and now ive learned to be quick to test run off if things look odd for no real reason...
ould the PH have been caused by over-ferting or an unchecked diff of cource but i have been really paying attention to that in this round and i knew is was most likly something else...im in belief that the high PH i was pushing into this CUT is/was the problem for me this time around...
you growers out there who are runing the FOURM cut and you start to see the signs in the pics i showed above PLEASE get to checking your PH.....
thanks for reading:)
