The brief info I read claims to be healthier stronger veg growth compared to the t5 and uses less electricity which makes me happy! It about time I do some upgrading in the veg room so I might try one out. I need to check what sizes they come in.

why do u flower em at 16" as opposed to larger ants?When I set up multi lamp veg I plant to space the 315's out on 3' centers for coverage and likely 24" high. I flower at 16" now.
There is only one size. 315. Comes in 2 spectrums. And Phillips tests much higher par than the rest.
It is made for a vertical open fixture and a square wave low frequency ballast.
My sun system open very reflector is about as powerful in a 3' area as my 600 hps or mh is in a 4' area.
2.5' square is ideal for flower. Likely 4' for veg.
