bummer about the butane. i ran out too for the harbor freight one, but found something in the shop a little bit bigger.

Super "discesting". Pharmaceutical grade. Same with distillate? BHO is pretty disgusting, especially when you make it and you know what is really going on behind the scenes.

Ooooh, bada$$. Is that shatter? You can make it with just heat, or is that the final part of the process? If it can be made without all the volatile chems/petrolium and safely, I'm very interested.

Until a few years ago I had never used any concentrates stronger than hash. The guy I've just started getting my medical herb from does his extractions in some natural healthier way I guess. Very powerful concentrates so whatever he's doing is extremely effective. I used to get it from my former roommates, it was very strong but they used butane. It negatively effected my breathing after only a short time. The shatter I've gotten from the last two delivery services has not negatively effected my health at all.

I think this is a really sad statement of the state of affairs where you are. I don't know of anyone here who has had health problems after using pot. Other than jumping off buildings or killing your ex. But those were edibles not concentrates.

Yes shatter. It takes a vacuum purge unless it is whipped for a long time under heat. I do not recommend anyone trying to do so without EXTENSIVE research on the forums and videos. Also that probably wasn't all the way purged oil and if you take super hot dabs that shit cakes your lungs that can attribute to breathing problems. Was very popular 3 yrs ago, the majority weren't making oil correctly and everyone wad taking dabs at ridiculously hot temps. Funny/insane how fast the evolution of oil has come.

707 head band from "kind meds" here in the valley. this is there top shelf, its pretty good. they were cool people.. there flower on display looked good too. but i have not tried that.. i can not recommend the white lighting shatter tho, its boring. 707 hell yeah!

Since the beginning I've always hated people burning the fuck outta their shit. At festivals some booths still have the temps real high. And they won't turn it down for you, sucks. Took a dab at 700 plus degrees the other day, burnt no flavor. Dude behind the counter had it that high. Says it's cause they always have customers to dabbout. Doesnt make since.

Yeah, a lower temp dab is always a better dab. Had a friend that threw away a 50 dollar ceramic dab bowl just because he would always get it too hot and it would always take too long to cool down. I then mentioned that a 12 dollar IR thermometer would have solved his problem and he was a little upset understandably. Just as hot headed as his dab rig.

I will throw it out there that if you use everclear right and evap it right for long enough you can get enough out that you can't notice it. I'm sure there's gotta be trace amounts left but I also know that every time I've done it I've gotten better product than any BHO I've had in my area except for stuff I've made. Do take that with a grain of salt though as I'm far from a medical state.

When it's done you can scrap it at room temp and it becomes kind of crystalline and powdery. Otherwise it takes a bit more heat than average it seems to make it soft enough to work and then it cools and gets hard fast. Honey clear though if you did it right.

I just freeze everything in a deepfreeze that can reach -10 - -20 degrees Celsius including the containers and the alcohol. Use everclear if you can get your hands on it but lab grade iso will work but can be harder to find. Anything else will leave water that will require a much higher temp to purge and if left will make your product sputtery and cloudy even if it keeps solid.

Run the alcohol over the frozen plant matter as fast as possible and pour off without fully draining. This is the first batch of the best stuff. Repeat with fresh alcohol, only into another container. Repeat one last time with more fresh alcohol only this time leave the alcohol on it for around 45-60 seconds. This will remove about all that's left that's worth getting and will be the least tasty of the bunch but you won't waste anything this way and get some top shelf product for your effort.

Then heat out the majority of the alcohol very low and slow and spread it out very thin. Then just sit it somewhere moderately warm like a computer or top of the fridge and it'll dry out even more over a couple days even after it's cooled and seems like it's as good as it's gonna get.
