Sorry for lack of updates. I have the images its just finding the time to sort them as I have a new camera now and its taking a while to get used to new lenses etc.

But the LED is chugging along nicely. ATM, the buds are that of what I would expect from a 400w or even a 600w in the same area. Nice and large. TBH already bigger than I thought the final result will be.

I am pulling up a chair, just trying to save enough money to get a 345w, just really hard to find that kinda of cash as that is 2 months wage but the savings over HID lighting is what i am after.

Ok, finally some updates.

Definitely over vegged. I should have just put two plants in. I had planned to put these in 1m tent, and even then I think there would have been too much growth. But with some chopping back, lots of bending and tucking here are some day 24 shots.

Man, your grows are freaking on point. I'll be checking this out because you certainly can grow and anyone to say otherwise has got be fn joking. It looks great and I like the pink colors from the LED.

how far away is your light?

Do they heat a bit or truly little to not much? thanks.
I would say it puts out about the same heat as a T5 8 strip array. Or perhaps slightly less.

Found my answer in your thread thanks.

Actually, I have to go back on my initial findings. It puts out FAR LESS heat than my T5 array.

I have my t5 in a dr150 with 550 cmh exhaust. Its running at 28.8 atm.

The LED is in a dr80 so almost a quarter the size of the 150 but using a 250 cmh exhaust and its running at 23 deg atm. As to the heat of the unit to touch, The plants could grow into the unit and not burn.... but they would have other issues if left too close.

Thank you very much. I love your grow and its one of the main reason I come here.

Thanks Beez,

dMZ - Done. Take care.

Ok, so I figured as I am playing with my new camera and lenses, I would throw up some day 35 shots.

All looking great. Some people seam to think LED's are not capable of growing bud. Well this bud is super sticky, super dense. Has a lovely aroma profile. All comparable to HID grown bud, but more like mHal grown. The stressless factor.

Anyway, on with the show. Day 35

The buds on top look fine but I do not see any cotton balls down below. Can you take a shot say 10" below to see the flower and stem thickness? Suerte JK

OK guys, day 43 update.

These are loving it as am I. I am very impressed with this so far. Stunningly surprised.

Also getting to grips with the camera and lenses.

So all shots taken with Nikon D90 - still all auto settings.

First few with Nikor 16-85 DX lense.

Then the Tamron F2 60 m Macro

And the super close ups Sigma 105 DG EX.
