I think you are on to something. I was trying to up yield with more PK boosters and I dropped the Kelp Extract portion down thus my yield went down. Thru all of this I did find that green sensation by plagron works well in early flower, but seems to be less effective in the middle and later stages of growth.Hey Anthem , one thing you may have been seeing with the kelp is its interaction with boron, Boron is not mobile within the plant, Boron play a big part though within the plant, bud set , bud growth size etc. many things, But the mannitol in kelp becomes completed with the boron making it mobile, So if your levels of both is adequate and timing is right it can make a big difference to.
Yeah my dry weight yield went up at least 30%. And the buds look way bigger when using it.I was just saying thats probably how they get over labeling regulations.
But now that you said 30-50% bigger i know there must be other variables.

All this has me worried. I recently changed from soil to coco and coco is just not going to work for me. I do not have space to set up a drain to waste system as well as an auto water system. Cleaning up water off the floor is not fun every night. We use to run studies where we was running boron at 10 PPM + and then adding the mannitol, Triacontanol and all the other additives on top of that with our feed , foliar sprays etc. , now a days though , I don't want to say lazy but I can a sure you things are simplified lol
I just picked up the hlg 650 for my tent.....ur goal of 3 lbs with ur hlg put a fat buddha lookin smile on my face.....dreaming of the possibilities once i get the light set up and a few grows dialled in with it, as im new, and running a 600w hps currently so ill have yo adjust some environmental parametets i assume, switching to led.Yeah I want to do a sog soo bad. But 1 more run for moms has to come first. Then SOG in coco I'm leaning cake n Chem for that grow for yield and see if I can hit over 3lbs on my single hlg 600 with 2 week veg. Maybe I will get to run it on full with SOG.
It's quite a witches brew of compounds for sure, but it certainly works very well.

I am switching to flood and drain. To keep it simple I am going to do the first couple runs sterile and then I might start using beneficial micro's and the kelp. My main concern is removing the kelp. Is Mannitol available to purchase in the US ?
You are correct, but there was additional size limitations that made moving forward with coco not desirable. I already have purchased Ebb and Flow setups. Had to find a reservoir from an RV water tank to fit with size limitations. Looking forward to Hydro and Drain to Waste.Don't know how big your room is but you can get 4 X 4 trays that is 3 or 4 inches high, put your pots in that and just run a drain line, makes running drain to waste easy
Pardon my ignorance... you use massive in addition to the grow/bloom nutes, right?I start at half that and work up to about 15ml per gal. I never take it up to full strength. It doesnt take a lot of tria to do its thing, and too much can cause other issues.. I also stop using it by week 6 or 7. Used too late in the cycle and it can potentially cause nanners.
That's right.Pardon my ignorance... you use massive in addition to the grow/bloom nutes, right?
Yup... fuck dirt.
Fuck dirt indeed.Yup... fuck dirt.
