Week Seventeen Update​

6 Weeks into flower and the ladies are looking and smelling fantastic.

This is the last weekend of full back-to-back double-feedings for the synthetic fed plants. After this weekend I will no longer be adding Advanced Nutrients Big Bud to the food mixture, and next week I start dialing down the nutrient mixture overall

The organic Star Killer got 5ml of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 10ml of Gaia Green 2-8-4 at the start of the week, which was it's last 'full' feeding

sadly I had to euthanize my venus fly trap. it was absolutely full of bugs
(don't buy plants from home depot)

Week Eighteen Update​

7th week of flower done. The end is so close I can smell it (REALLY smell it).

This morning I gave the synthetic plants a light feeding. Tapering off nutrients so only 3ml of Micro,Grow and Bloom and 2ml of Bud Candy mixed with 2ml water each. I am also no longer using water from the fish tank to dial down on nutrients. Next week will be the final feeding

All of these strains called for 8-10 week flower period, and I am aiming for around 9 hoping they all look finished at the same time (fingers crossed)

Looks like the medium yield I was aiming for is right on point. Hopefully the quality is where I want it too.



London Pound Cake
Tall tops with a lot of bud sites. Buds sites are more compact but this plant is not forming fat impressive buds like the other plants did. They are filling out and look like they are finishing ok but much smaller and not very frosty. I am wondering if this plant may take a little longer to finish than the others... this plant grew so different from the rest that I want to grow a single specimen to see what it can do if given more time and dedicated attention

Star Killer (organic fed)
Frosty and sticky. Big buds on top and many popcorn buds below. Short and stocky but not disappointing at all.

Star Killer (synthetic fed)
Ultra fat and frosty. Buds are showing a bit of purple coloration. Fat buds on top, popcorn buds forming nice below. This plant seems to be the strongest smelling and it is absolutely impossible to defoliate without getting sticky - even some of the fan leaves are covered in trichomes

Jealousy
Fat and frosty buds on top with chunky popcorns below. Buds are perhaps even more colourful than the Star Killers but it's close. This plant's stems aren't quite as thick as the others and many tops have started to flop over due to the weight. I had to improvise by putting my smaller scrog net above the canopy and using garden wire to suspend the heavier buds

Week Nineteen Update
(Harvest?)​

8 Weeks into Flower. Buds are finishing nicely. Most of the pistils have turned orange and shrivelled up. Trichomes are all milky white (and some have even started to turn amber). Today could be harvest day for some of these plants. I am pondering the decision while I write this update, and will make my final decision this afternoon.

While it didn't appear to be developing as nice as the other plants, buds have increased in size and some of the tops are starting to lean over from the weight. Still not quite as frosty as the other plants, but it's trichomes are developing well. Pistils are are just starting turning orange and shrivel. Lot of changes within the last few days. My only thought is that this plant may take a few days longer than the others to finish.

Nearly all the pistils have shrivelled up. Trichomes are white. This plant looks just about ready to harvest at any time.

Star Killer (synthetic fed)
Almost all the pistils are shriveled up and the trichomes are all a milky white colour, and some appear to be taking on an amber hue, especially on some of the sugar leaves. This plant is ready to go so I am likely cutting it down today, whether the others go with it or not.

Jealousy
Similar to the Star Killers, the pistils have mostly shrivelled up. Trichomes are a milky white colour. Looks ready to go at any time.
