So I believe that sour bb is from emerald triangle. Or Humbolt seed organization. Got it as a freebie a long time ago but I got lucky and found a insane smelling and tasting pheno. The high is great too. As for Coco. I'd say that is what Coco Vs soil or any other medium looks like. Things just grow at or near hydro rates in coco. Nothing and I mean nothing compares with what roots do in coco. It's crazy! There is a learning curve though. Although it isn't hard. Good luck bro.

Thanks a ton. Checking out "super soil" mixes with coco. Thinking of buying a small hydro setup to check it out, as well. But I do love the taste my organic super soil adds. It's not cheating on soil just to test other mediums... Right? ;)Cheers, bro!

Yessir. But, I ALWAYS wanna improve. Dont know what works best if I dont check it all out. Who knows... Maybe the key to heaven awaits me in coco. You already drew my interest... Dont try to talk me out of it, now! Lol

Also depends what ur after. I do believe Coco will out grow and out produce most any soil. However I do believe most soil will give u better tasting product. However I don't feel that the flavor is some awful drop off but a connoisseur would notice the difference for sure. Don't think anything brings out the flavor like organically grown stuff.

I'm about 60/40 Coco to soil these days. Currently trying just right xtra which is Coco but heavily amended. Hopefully best of both worlds.

Yeah, I've gotten through very little reading, and I already decided I HAVE to try some coco. Too big a difference in yield for me to ignore. I wish I could see first hand the taste difference before I try. But, the reward is worth the "risk" (aka money), IMO. What wold you say is the hardest thing to get used to when switching to coco?

Looking healthy, bro! What day ya at? Sorry if I missed it somewhere up there.

@sixstring I had that happen a few times. My theory is it happens when the sprout is put in the soil a little late (taproot too long upon insertion), and gets twisted under the soil. Did you notice better growth on that plant? In my experience they grew a little more vigorous. Could be coincidence, as it's only happened to me 3 times.Would love to hear your thoughts...

@Tnelz Where can I scoop up some of that sour blueberry? Who put it out? Looks purdy!
Also, with the mota's... Does coco usually make that big of a growth difference, or is it strain specific?

Whats up big j. I just started some hempys with coco, and nothing hard about it. For me, just alot of mixing up my nutes, and getting my ph in range, and lots of watering. Hope you dive right in in bro. I think you'll be glad. Best my brother DP

Hell yeah, Pep! Thats the kind of stuff I like to hear. You seem happy with it thus far, and that says a lot in my book. Ill be PMing you with some specific questions in the near future, if you dont mind.
As for making the switch, Ive already started researching and taking steps. You know how I do... I plan on going balls deep and letting the yield speak for itself. Cheers!

Think don p said exactly what I would have. Also things happen fast with coco. If issues arise they come quick but they r fixed quick as well. One thing I want to stress if something isn't right flush. It is nothing to be worried about with coco. I've flushed twice in one week and it's no issue. U have plenty of people including myself that will be here to help. Anytime bro. I believe u will kill in coco!

For the record there is a product I'm using just right xtra. Slightly amended coco that I'll be using organica on. You may want to start there or coco loco. Water at a soil ph. Well just about. The coco loco is amended more so I'd wager u wouldn't loose much flavor at all. And honestly the loss of flavor is negligible anyway!

Low ppm nutes. I guess it's debatable but I'd never run plain water through Coco. Although I'd have no problem using a flushing agent. So either low ppm nutes like 250/300 or a flushing agent such as clearex followed by about half strength nutes.

Hey Don p just for the record if u were going to use a flushing agent I'd really recommend the detox from mad farmer. Way way better than clearex. Another awesome way to flush is using herculean harvest from nectar of the gods. Works great and it's a nice shot of phosphorous! When I use it as a flush I use 15mls. Just giving options. Lol.

What's good Jay! So u will hear a million different answers to this but if u don't plan on using either of the two products spoke on already and decide to go with plain Coco just want to cast my vote for cyco Coco. A few people will tell u I try every dam thing just so I have at least a knowledgeable opinion on the product and cyco kicks the shit out of every Coco I've tried. I do have a bag of house and garden I'm excited to try but hands down the best most consistent Coco I've used has been cyco. Love the stuff. I've used botanicare(good stuff) canna (hated it 450 ppm out the bag) not saying it's bad but I didn't like my experience, cocotech brick not bad but wouldn't use it again also Coco palms(just OK and crazy inconsistent from bag to bag). Cyco has been the same every time. Frigging awesome!

If the shipping wasn't so expensive I would have bought it a long time ago. I'm sure it's great stuff though. Wish a monster gardens would open on the east coast.
