I'll say it.
cant have both. folks say they got a "cal mag problem" because they dont understand the differences

it's even worse in soil where excess mg will bind up the soil and cause compaction... throw more cal & mg and you compound your problem with more mg... its like having the whole dolomite vs calcite argument all over again... got to really go wrong with excess cal before its a major problem... but excess mg will fuck your soil balance quick

I used to help folks in infirmary type threads...

.. soon came to realize that no matter what the problems or symptoms... one guy would come behind me and blame cal-mag... a second behind him decrying it all in favor of ph issues... every time without fail.

...I soon just gave up.

@SeaF0ur @Pimp T lol. Couldn't agree more sea. I've had the debate many times. Was telling someone they should switch out lime for oyster shells. Does the same thing except no mag to tighten up ur soil. He told me he likes tight soil. Lol. #itaintpussyfool

I fucking love you guys and gals all the way ( in a positive heterosexual way ;) )

The thing is I work with what I have on hand and I'm a cheap mofo to say at least. Except for the soil (which I'm running for the third time) and the nutes which I bought to last me at least a year there isn't much I'm putting into my grows. Yes I bought Epsom off Amazon but it will last me a decade the way I use it, I also use green compost tea which is actually in tea bags but I buy it only when it's half the price, just like bagged EWC. For Ca I'm using egg shells, for pHing I use either baking soda or lemmon juice/vinegar... I'd get me some kelp but it's way too expensive, so banana peels for K and ashes for P it is. Had Ca issues on previos run but it was unavoidable since I didn't use anything to supplement it. No fancy airpots but old school terracota pots, lighting is DIY with leftover LEDs from previous projects and my grow box is actually my wardrobe closet in my living room :D

The thing is what I'm doing is illegal where I live and I don't actually spend too much of my resources (savings) if I accidentally get busted (hoping this never happens). And I started doing it for myself.

Now my friends are comming to me asking for plants. Not unrooted cuts, not beans, but plants. I love to share what I have and love to educate them how to grow the best possible way I can. I also have two cancer patients that are loving it and a good friend of mine with cerebral paralysis. That cramped up fuck was told by the doctors he won't live to see 16 years of age. We'll we started smoking together really early and he found out that his body isn't getting that cramped like before, he can control his pain and he's 46 fucking years old today. He's also the first guy on my list to get some bud.

Fuuuuuuck am I stoned. Forgot what I was actually gonna write.

Im visiting my folks as I'm writing and we have really shitty weather. But who gives a fuck when there's tasty bud on hand :D

Here's a beautiful sight out the doors:

And here's a song that goes with who I am:

Peace brothers and sisters!

That already sounds almost perfect IMO... here's what ya do to maximize the COB techniques...

First, figure out what local plants you have around you... look specifically at things others consider garden "weeds" but other things are certainly around... dandelions for a case in point...

go HERE (http://www.ars-grin.gov/duke/plants.html)

now, we search for dandelion... if given a species selection, we make a choice, or flip a coin and just pick a specie...

in the results, it tells you every chemical and phytochemical contained in the plant, its PPM and its location (root, shoot, leaf, seed,et al.)

for common dandelion....

Now certainly you can see where a cheap ole' bastard such as myself doesn't need to buy bottles in order to feed my plants these ever so very common elements as needed.... composted or fermented plant extracts go a long way and can be completely tailored to your surrounding plants... as our forefathers have done since before record keeping....

I'll take a dump... what the hell... start with obligatory mulch shot....

2 pots of Silver Grapefruit MCD

A pot of Grape Ape...

My Catpiss cut... has to be NorCal Catpiss and not San Diego Catpiss as I was told. This is all indica.

Another Catpiss I've started spraying with CS....

Started flowering out another FloScout....

Got 7 Elmers Glue x Fire Cookies up... with fire cookie pollen at the ready for a potential bx.

Isolation chamber currently holds a Blue Moon Rocks male and a PDP (GDP x Purps), MCD (Blue City Diesel x Purps), Halo 2x (Romulan x Purps), Grape Ape, and a Groundpounder Purps in a solo cup will go in the center of the 4 girls....

Now certainly you can see where a cheap ole' bastard such as myself doesn't need to buy bottles in order to feed my plants these ever so very common elements as needed.... composted or fermented plant extracts go a long way and can be completely tailored to your surrounding plants... as our forefathers have done since before record keeping....

hey does that catpiss actually smell like a cats piss? I don't know if you've ever smelled a cats piss but I had a cat from kindergarten to high school. Its a smell you could never forget a skunky ammonia with a somewhat sweet melon type smell.

I got it last year... vegged it to find it had come in with hemp russets. I was almost through veg... then I got laid up in the hospital for an unexpected surgery... when I returned, everything was in very bad shape... I had to use chems to treat the infestation, so I treated, and then cut new clones of everything I could save... I cleared all plant material from the room and treated the cuts in solo cups still... once I got the pots clean and a very minor re-tilling with ewc & kelp I stuck in 6" cuts to veg again... I dropped chems at this point, went back to oils like rosemary neem lemongrass.... released a shit ton of predatory mites and beetles... some plants were stunted with mite toxin and took a minute to recover, but now I got my healthy shine back...
I basically lost the time it took vegging em... treating em.... and then vegging em out again... I just flipped lights so my empty jars will fill back up soon enough.... the other cat who I got it from never got rid of the mites, tried to flower it... and now its so beat up and infested he's gonna lose it.... I couldnt go look at it in person in flower because I wasn't gonna go in there... I dont know what he did to get through or how bad it was so I wont smoke it...
...the anticipation has built for me for quite some time... today was actually first day of 12/12....

@Tnelz @Power OG I've asked this separately but not in a royal rumble form- who wins in the battle of ONYCD vs Tre OG vs Stardawg (Katie) vs Yeti 7?

My favorite out of the TopDawg's strains are Tre OG, followed by ONYCD and Katie, Yeti is my favorite strain period, so I'm biased. There all phenomenal plants who produce grade A smoke, just my opinion @Pimp T
