so I got me a garden gnome. I had been thinking of getting one for good vibes and found one at the pro shop at the game last night. I need help naming him. and I'm thinking about letting him visit some other gardens.
he is pretty cool..

also I don't know why but on one plant the top most bud looks like this. could it be from me jamming my microscope up against it to see it?
beautiful frost on her this run too! possibly from me taking the glass out of the hood? I took it out because with a 250w it's not doing anything but taking away from the light.
all 3 are way frostier than the first run of her.

happy growing guys and gals!

Select the first one, but don't double click

double click the last one while holding down shift. They must be sequential.

I just tried it, & it uploaded 4 images at once.

the glass interferes with UV which can affect it for sure.

Hey Bro I have information On being exposed to Active and inactive TB
During my time in the service The ship I was on had to evacuate the Philippines Island This was when Mt Pinatubo Erupted, Well as we loaded The ship down with thousands of locals and Other It was later discovered 30% of the population had In-active TB or Carriers of IT.....
about 1% were active TB
Once the TB test was administered to each sailor (You Know that skin test) some of us popped positive for the Exposeur to the live TB
I freaked I was one...
BUT
The Dr started me on a TTB converter pill
you take a pill like a Vite-mine once a day everyday for 6 months and never have a TB test again.
ITS CALLED an I.N.H. Tablet and it is very VERY simple NO worries.
That was a long time ago and I have had a chest X-Ray every year with NO Issues.
It will be OK Bro.

the other ones are a little taller, about two inches, so if it was the light I would think all 3 would look like that. maybe my garden gnome will work some magic lol.

I'm off to look up gnome names...

dont over sell it or anything....lol...im just messing, for the price its worth to scoop it and give it a try. I really just need a bag of it to add to a soil mix im putting together with a 3.8cuft bale of promix, ewc.rice hulls, and i was going to add humus so this will work....The guy over at Anbessa has a soil mix kit that i grabbed that is similar to clackamas's on bas but with more ingredients....i read that growers that have tried bot feel the Anbessa one is more rounded but more importantly that it works perfectly with the Anbessa nutrient brews i am already using for veg and bloom!

I use a similar soil mix to coot, but with some fine tuning on Albreicht ratios and a bit more thick on amendments to bump it a notch or two stronger... not a bad starter mix, but I cannot imagine buying some "kit" of kelp and crab...

It can be a bunch of things. As mentioned it can be in a hot spot.

I'm clarifying that because height isn't the whole deal. That bud looks like it's in a hot spot.

Or it could be from nutes. I've seen bloom boosters do that. How much LKB are you using? & Bloom?

If it gets seeded up I've seen a similar effect. But you look good regarding that.

I have to agree with @gardnguyahoy , it looks like it's just too hot, which will burn the pistils.

Also, different strains react differently to the heat. I had a very hot tent one run, I was trying to find my way with co2. The WW did exactly what you are seeing. But the WW has a ton of pistils, they all burned/browned. Other plants in the same tent had no problems with the heat.

Then last run I had Tangerine Dream, & it died from the cold (61*) dead as a door nail. But it would take all the heat you could throw at it. I swear you couldn't get it hot enough...it just wanted more more more.

This is why people run the same strain so many times & take meticulous notes, many choosing to only work with 2-3, period! It took me a few runs to figure out the WW cut I had, could not take the heat. She was like me in the summertime in FL....just miserable. Give her 75* & she will go ballistic!!

The Tangerine Dream was the opposite. She wanted Florida in the summertime. Make it too cold & she will up & die on you.

Notes, notes, notes. Today was a good day to try it for me due to the weather...I made it especially hot in the tent, up to 90* Left it for an hour & went & checked, none of the plants I am running now were happy with that. Growth became smaller, & shriveled...less vigorous. Now I know, 90 is way too hot for every one of those plants. They will tolerate 85, (it's not unusual for plants to be happy in the same climate, nor unusual to be unhappy) but all of them really like 77-80, & they all tolerate 61*, even though at this time of flower, I don't want that temp. But I need to know, because if something happens, I need to know if they will be alright on their own.

In other words, I'm not going to run Tangerine Dream when it's possible the temps may drop to 61, because I know it's going to be very unhappy. I would run that one in hotter weather because it responds well to it.

yes you can do a bunch in sequence like that holding shit....if you hold ctrl instead and single click, you can pic what ever pics you want and the dont have to be in order....i knew all this but the reason it wasn't working for me is bc 99% of the time i upload directly from my celll and when i plug my cell into my computer and upload directly to this site it only lets me do one at a time....to make things quicker i nnow just transfer all the pics i want to upload to my desktop quickly and all at once then upload them all at once to the site from my desktop.....

i have an app on my phone a buddy built that everytime i take a picture it automatically strips the picture of all geo tagged information so the pic is clean. With out this anybody smart enough can tell when where and on what phone the pic was taken on, i think they can even tell who the phones registered too if its not a burner...either way i like to cover all my bases

Sucks bro been there before we lost power for 14 hours a while back I was like week 8 of flower and with no filter my whole block smelled so strong there's no way it was all my tent but it had me tripping hard I lit a fire in my pit to help cover the smell and took a roll of tape to every crack in my house hope it comes back

Perfect example....I brought it down to 85...they looked better, but not happy.

79* & a stiff breeze (on my meter anyway) & they are crushing it. 75* & a stiff breeze & they slow down a bit. Newer growth will display signs of being chili. 75* is where photosynthesis becomes ideal (if you are coming from cold to warm). But you have no idea if your hygro is as accurate as the one used in that study. Chances are it's probably not. So, let's assume a +/- of 4* (because that's about where I'm at lol)

You can't just go by the hygro. You have to learn what a hot plant looks like, a dry plant, cold, too humid, not humid enough. Because a hygro will get you close...the rest, you need to learn how to see.

In hydro, when you are crushing it, you can actually see the growth in real time. It's so fast all you need to do is get to where you think is ideal for your plants, & come back in an hour. If you have it right, (& are the least bit observant) the growth will smack you in the face as you enter the tent.

So, that was my comment on hygro's. The "ideals" you read about in the science documents were ascertained in a totally different environment, & I'm going to assume a different hygro. You can't just set your environment to the hygro & think it's good, you might be WAY off. I honestly think my +/- above is conservative. On your hygro, your plants might thrive in 82/80. If you are making your room (again, on your hygro) 75/50 you are blowing it...big time! Mess around with it, & watch the plants. On my hygro, 4 days after the flip, & 79*, 70, & breezy & I could pull up a chair & watch them grow if I wanted to. I'm starting to worry about room. I have fan leaves the size my head.

Soil has a much longer buffer period to see nutrient change effects, but environment you can still see in an hour or so. Environmental reactions above the soil remain pretty quick. Learn to read your plants, not your hygro.

not sure what all that was in response to but its great information and i agree completley...you NEED to know your plants, the hygro can read whatever...if your plants aren't happy they aren't happy...

on a separate note, i forget what happened to those soser plants you had going...did you ever finish flowering them out?

I wasn't talking about that, but since you mentioned it, as far as thcfarmer goes all info is striped when uploaded. I was just referring to the chance of loosing your file, it's much better to copy and paste it somewhere, if that fails you should still have the original to fall back on. When you cut and paste, if something goes wrong there's a good chance of loosing some of the data. That being said shoots of plants that you can go back and rephotograph don't make it that big of a risk, but if your moving important pictures around always copy and paste
