Yeah tossing up doing a vege run when I get my lights back@Ned Kelly thank you for giving your thoughts with the Urea and I'm glad it was working well!! Again it's unfortunate that all this happened.... Have you thought about maybe growing some other plants or flowers; to maybe just feel like your staying in a pattern / have something to focus on? Snake should be mailed to evidence so they have "everything". :p
@BlackSheepOG she's looking mighty fine!!
Theres a simple formula for working this out watts ÷ volts = amps so for example 10 x 600w lights is 6000w ÷ 220v = ??? Or 6000w ÷ 115 v =??? For mag ballast the end result a correction factor of x 1. 8 to account for start up current and to stop nuisance tripping of the mcb most people I know don't use the correction factor and do it quite fine but the risk is there :)As long as you don't exceed the original sources power doing it like that...
So you need to know AMP and VOLTS of original source.
Reading more into it.....product says 220V 30 amp source. Meaning you can put a total of 6600 watts. IF YOUR SOURCE IS 220V 30 amp circuit!!!!
But if each plug is limited to 20 amps at 120V, then each plug can only go to 2400 watts.
Meaning you could easily overload this box! Only (1) 1000watt light per outlet!!!
The wattage figures I gave DO NOT ACCOUNT for continuous power (lights fans etc.) I think you need to take it down 20% to calculate continuous power. Giving you about 5280 watts
DAMN brother, that is a nice beast. I will trade you for 2 magic beans... lol.Lol i see your Cola, and raise you a bushel of ghost OG View attachment 573748
@SeaF0ur ...thanks for that link, his grow is pretty cool and i bet was a lot cheaper then a pharmpod...
Hey are you familiar with something like this?
Coleman Cable 01980 X-Treme Box 01980 Portable Temporary Power Distribution Box, Converts (1) L14-30P to (8) 5-20R
I am completely unfamiliar with it but it says you can plug it into a dyer outlet and then have 8 20amp plugs. Since I have a dryer outlet already in my basement would something like this be able to be used instead of me getting a sub panel? Excuse if this is a really stupid question but i have no idea about any of this stuff
The maximum marketable wattage for a device running on 220v, 30A; is 5,000w. As long as you don't exceed this total you should be fine.well honestly while I'm living in this house I'm never going to go above 3 1k lights total plus humid and dehumidifier and ac.... Not sure how much I'll need
Heck ya!!!!Yeah tossing up doing a vege run when I get my lights back
