Blueberry x Vimana's D and E are farther along so I'll put up another pic for them. They are at week 8.
BM-D Has lovely orange hairs and stands out on the floor!!! This one has the second highest N and EC tolerance next to BM-A. Second lowest N requirement in flower. Efficient in CA uptake.
Nice fresh and sweet smell with a subtle blueberry hint at the end.
BM-E This one is the has the largest node space and is probably the lowest yielder. Third highest N and EC tolerance. Second highest N requirement. Efficient uptake of CA (yes, still has the damaged leaves on haha)
Subtle overall smell, but a faint fruity followed by a spicy / or acrid? backnote
*One note with all these BM's. The blueberry seems to become noticeable only later in the flowering. A couple that didn't have any fruit / berry flavor now have that as an undertone. An exception being with BM-B, which showed the most berry throughout flower now has a dank undertone also (sort of a dank berry xD).
Guess I have a trick also that I do for new plants and I'm not sure if I've ever seen another do it (surely it is though).
It's sort of another way to help determine pull date or if a plant is "in the window"
--Pick of one of the frosty bud leaves (when you feel a plant is ready) and put it in your mouth. Quickly (very quickly) take note of that first hit of flavor you get. Directly after you will get the green of course and that "sample" is done. Leave plenty of time to clean pallet before repeating.
-I've noticed (may just be me) that the flavor hit you get from that taste is often quite similar to the taste when smoked (if pulled at that point).
Doing the above with the BM's. I can taste a subtle berry, fruity or blueberry in all but BM-E at this point.
