my 8yr old niece agrees 100%....lol.....just messinKind of a funny story....
I have an instagram account for one of my business'.
I speak Portuguese, and married to an American/Brazilian (her mom is Brazilian, but my wife was born and raised here)
Anyway, I know, A LOT of Brazillians. Most of the young girls are always posting pics etc, similar to A.G's. I saw "Ariana Grande" so many times, but I never recalled meeting her. Without any other knowledge of her, I assumed she was just another Brazilian girl...a daughter of one of my friends or something.
I asked my wife and she said, "I don't think she is Brazilian, I think she is a singer or something?" She wasn't exactly sure either. No big deal...but I'm still not sure who this girl on my feed is....I don't think I know her. I know many girls that look like her...but her name didn't ring a bell.
This weekend, she was the host and musical guest on SNL lol. So, I think when I signed up for instagram, it just automatically had me follow her or whatever.
But anyway, this girl, who I couldn't remember, is a mega star. And she killed it on SNL. She can sing (like really sing), she can dance, she can act....AND she is funny! Like, really funny! She did a skit where she imitated a bunch of singers....hysterical.
So, while I don't actually know this Ariana Grande after all (I'm glad I never told anyone I know her lol) I'm a fan...
....but I did remove her from my feed lol. I don't need to know what stars are doing all the time. But damn, what a talent.
i agree thats what it looks like and believe me I take all y'alls advice whole heartedly but dont you agree that it is odd that the last set of seedlings i pout into this soil did just fine? actually better then fine, they really thrived!!@Lazerus00 Not a huge fan of diagnosis. I'm always in left field to most haha.
At any rate, with the droopy plants, if it were in my space, I'd look for;
-Low O2 (which is to say overwatering, soil compaction or areas approaching anoxic since organic)
-High pH
On the nutrient side; they look to definitely be in a hot mix.
-By the leaf color; I would be considering that N is sufficient (or luxury) and P is in luxury ranges.
-By the node spacing; I would be considering that the ratio of N:K is a bit low. (high K).
-From the effects of the above; the first closeup leaf pic you showed is S-. (S is low in proportion to N and P with K where it is)
-The second closeup pic seems more related to possibly phytotoxicity or past direct damage. Not sure if I would put that to a deficiency yet.
To correct for, or see if it's S-; you could add some epsom. Though again, you look pretty hot as is.
So i bought a 18in 7/8in auger drill bit to make the holes for my 6/3 cable to go thru but either my DeWalt cordeless drill is not strong enough, the batt was too low, or somehow im hitting something the drill bit wont go thru.....I was able to get all the way thru with a reg 18in 3/8in drill bit but when i go to try and widen the hole with the 7/8in auger bit it wont go thru...Anybody have any ideas or advice??
no brand new awesome drill and batt....yes i drilled the 3/8 right in the middle of where i want the 7/8 auger bit to go thru....I did have it on high thinking that would be better so i will try low....Also what do the numbers mean that go around the black part where you put the bit into? i think it goes from a pick of a drill bit then 1-17....If it's two speed put it in the lower speed, charge pack, should blast right through it, at least an 18v would. Did you drill the 3/8 where you're trying to drill the 7/8?
If it is really old the pack might not hold enough charge. The shitty ryobi cordless at my work won't hold charge for shit but it just stops no matter what you're doing, if you can drill 3/8 no problem you should be able to get the 7/8 thru
i know but is it not weird that i ordered 5 bags of this soil all at once like 8 months ago and this was the 1 i had left and the other 5 made my plants more then happy??? I guess maybe this one bag could be a shitty mix....So what do you suggest?? Just go ahead and up pot now into my soil new personally made mix??I'm thinkin what mgrox said and what I always see bas having trouble with high k. I'd also check the ppms of your water not so much ph but that too. @Lazerus00
There's a clutch built into itno brand new awesome drill and batt....yes i drilled the 3/8 right in the middle of where i want the 7/8 auger bit to go thru....I did have it on high thinking that would be better so i will try low....Also what do the numbers mean that go around the black part where you put the bit into? i think it goes from a pick of a drill bit then 1-17....
thank you, that makes sense....ill let you know how it goes in a lil bit...i appreciate the info and advice!!There's a clutch built into it
lets say you're driving screws into something small and delicate. You want to run the screw or bolt or whatever to the bottom but don't want to over tighten it you'd use a smaller number setting and the clutch would break sooner. Try setting it to 3 and holding the chuck with your hand and pull the trigger, the clutch will slip super easy. For drilling you want all the torque you can get so set that baby to drill.
The lower speed setting provides more torque which you need for drilling bigger holes
You should see the drill press I use to drill 3 1/2" holes 20" long through stainless
dammit!! I was wishing it was the ppms....but okay so since i remembered last time i specifically used bas's seedling soil mix to start them and this time i started them in coots mix could it still be too hot for them and be causeing the growth issues?? Or could it be that this bags NPK is way out of whack?? Whats your best suggestion to try and fix?? flush a whole bunch or try to up pot in diff soil??your water ppms is fine shit man now I'm stumped wish I could help more man @Lazerus00
