Oh that Scott og is a keeper I'm puffing some right now I didn't grow it my boy chicken man did and it's flavor is unreal.just out a curiosity @NaturalTherapy how many seeds did it take ya to find her?

I seem to have found a keeper in Scott's OG, the flo OG was insanely good and a moonshine haze I've smoked was really good too.

Yep its like cookies for me. The smoke may be good, but in my eyes not good enough to work it in with the parameters I have. I got other strains that are just as good that work just fine. There are a few that justify headstash status but gth isn't one of them. Contemplating the cookies

I have yet to run a cookie cut/cross that I kept more than 2 runs just not worth it imo too finicky and low yield for me

I think 5. A friend gave me half his pack; and he had found a killer female in the first 5 he opened. Plus I still have another pack in storage awaiting her chance to give me a diamond or two. Glad to hear you dig it!

Trying out my new glasses. Now I can stare at my lights like a tard without burning out my eyesockets.

I got me some Apollos. 3 pairs. Thanks @Tnelz great tip.

Going to be upgrading from 1k to 2k and would love to hear some of your opinions/advice and get some help with my new setup.

I've attached my room with the dimensions. The ceilings are 7'10". I'm looking to see if my plan is as efficient as I can be. I don't run CO2 and I use passive intake. Basement grow so it stays pretty mild. This next summer I will probably get an AC.

Veg light is a 600w MH

Any and all help / opinions wanted! Thanks guys

Super jealous of all the space you have! Looks like its gonna be a pretty sweet setup as long as you can regulate temps...Im curious thou if your running in a room, why not seal it and use C02 to get those ppms at like 1200-1500?? You gonna be using a filter inside the room to clean the air?

I don't like the idea of sealed rooms! I think at my scale it isn't worth the initial investment. I'm not sure, cause I haven't looked into it. Also if something happens, everything can go wrong all at once. With a passive intake, I don't get those problems. Mostly though I really just don't have the upfront costs / maintenance costs.

No filter right now. That's how I've been running it. Thinking some simple filters for the intake holes though. I am getting some more fuely diesel based beans soon, so that might have to change lol.

Most of the year temps are pretty good. Summer time it gets hot, but rest of the year is pretty mild.

That's a big room for a tank. & a lot of people, myself included, aren't comfortable putting a burner in.

But I can't say enough about c02. Start it 7-10 days before the flip (depends on the plant) & up to 4-5 weeks after the flip. My yield, plant for plant (same clone, light, diet etc) went up almost 20%.

If you stop it around the beginning of week 5 or so it has already had most of it's benefit, & it messes less with the terpenes, cod's etc.

I've run it all the way through flower. The difference I noticed was a strong chlorophyl smell during dry (hay) as opposed to the appropriate weed smell a particular plant should have. If you stop it around week 5, it lessens that effect. (stops?)

I've run it through veg too, and it will make your veg time very fast if you want fast turnover. But it get's expensive.

But if you can afford it for 6 weeks or so, I don't think you will ever go back.

I used to have a picture of the same plant...one with co2 for 6 weeks, & one with no co2. You can see the difference just in a crappy cell phone pic. I have never had them tested though for thc/cbd etc. That's next on my list to experiment with.

So the Mass skunk x ghost OG showed its first preflower last night and a further look today says definitely a female :)
Dumb Bitch tho I fimmed her ass and it ate that shit like a champ, all it did was slow her down lmao which was cool because the side branches were/are slow moving. Doing a little better now though, anyways continued its normal growth with a single top lol didn't get 4-5 like I like too. Never had one not mutilply in tops after a fim but then again I've probably got 2 1/2 serious years into this so not that long.

And in a early veg state with a little run of the stem or with enough movement of the plant your sinuses get hit with the most pleasing BO smell ever, it's intoxicating yet funky. Looking forward to it, going to let the 4 lowest branches grow out and chop em...if anyone cares to dig em out the trash then? ;)

Glad the drama has passed. There's no room for thaton this badass thread.

The tent is blowing up. I've got one pheno with some nice clusters already formed. The other two are a little behind but are looking amazing as well. Loving the structure on this 501st og. Very easy to train. Doesn't recover from being topped the fastest, but fast enough if you scrog the outside branches away from the center. They filled the screen pretty well for only being 3 plants ts in there. I'll throw some pics up later on when the lights come on.

I also decided fuck it and foliar fed some of the pegasus potion again for one last nitrogen boost during stretch. The shit stinks so bad but the girlfriend is out of town for a couple days...this stuff rocks as a foliar. The plants were praying so hard after it

So I know one person who popped like ten of them. Had three very different phenos and didn't love them. Another has a keeper that he can't get enough of. I know another who loves it and has used it in a couple breeding projects. So I've herd good things and not so good. No reflection on Scott or rare dankness. Have a ton of respect for them. For the record all three have told me it takes more than 70 days. Just not my thing.

Pp is awesome stuff in any foliar as well as root drench. Love the stuff. Literally smells like a rotting corpse though. Pure protein smells pretty bad but is an air freshener next to Pegasus potion.

Sup tnelz fam. Having a rough go of things today, head not really in a good place. Im smoking cigs again after months of not buying a pack. Pleh..

Thought id at least try to garden, or keep my mind on that. I did foliar spray this morning at lights out, great white microbes, and bloom khaos. Hopefully that keeps away any spores and helps give the ladies a little boost. Anyone here try great white as a foliar?

I want to try and cultivate some positivity in myself today, so i thought id start by giving some positivity.

This thread is great. @Power OG explained to me one day that thc farmer didnt use to be like this. Info was held onto tightly, people liked to say "pics or it didnt happen" which consequently annoys the fuck out of me now when people say it. And it was casted with secrecey around this joint, and that THATS why @Tnelz made this thread, to have an open space where all types of growers can converse and share info, instead of keep it tightly locked away. Think about how hard it was to share cuts or seeds, spreading the love im sure was a rare occasion. As he explained this to me i realized why this thread was so important, and i thought id share the thought with you guys. This place is a breeding ground of friendship, good vibes, positivity, creativity, knowledge. A place where growing is a COMMUNITY, the thought that were all here making GROWING as a WHOLE a better thing all over the states, international even. this place is about a bigger picture to me. Where mj cultivation sky rockets as a movement. Instead of a celebrity pool where no noob is allowed. Think about it Just food for thought.

Thats my positivity for the day. Now i will be a grumpy shithead for the remainder of it. Lol ; )

Hit the nail on the head. But I had a super shitty night last night. Happens from time to time. Watched pulp fiction and everything was better. Not to mention getting my bloom room finished. Feeling great today. It will pass brother. Good vibes to u man.

I agree 70 days is a lot and until the next cpl months when I finally scoop up another tent just for flower I wouldn't grow that long of a strain but when I do I'd kinda want to try just for fun and to see if its the typa haze i really like...tell you the truth im surprised @Pimp T hasen't chimed in about this yet considering he LOVES haze....I don't know I have never smoked it or even seen any up close but who knows.....As for I forget who but the guy here who has a landrace that is taking up to 6months in flower, i just dont think id have the patience for that shit
