I need to smoke a bowl....fuck.
Most of us have done it once before too.

I went out of town a couple days this early this summer, light timer failed and stayed on 48 hours strait while exhaust only kicked in 12 hours at a time. Came home to a themostat reading 131!!
Fried em 3 weeks into bloom, set me back 3 months.

To top it off they were the last dozen seeds of the first cross I ever made :(

damn my brotha..im sry sir...ive heated plants to a crisp before also man..some will come back, some wont

Hey @SeaF0ur the PVC pipe is that for air to get to bottom of pot to roots. ?

no. I have a 3 gallon reservoir under each pot. I bottom water everything with capillary action and the tube allows me to bypass the soil. Dumping water can fuck up a delicate patch of young cover crop.... My pots allow me to leave the house for up to 2 weeks without a babysitter. The only time I had something like the pics above was because of an unexpected hospital stay and surgery... my pots couldnt keep up for 3 weeks... anyways, this is what they are and how they work.... should be self explanatory.

God damn!! That is one sexy system you got there!!!

@Power OG and @Tnelz you guys think OG PURE is just as important to get?

thats is pretty wild. cover crops, are you growing organically? with that and an amended soil mix the shit would almost grow itself...

and to the dude with crispy plants, a few of those look just hella thirsty, they might bounce right back after a good drink. dont give up!

Order some agsil16h... you can get it in 4lb sizes I know for sure. You pre-mix this at 150grams/1liter which comes right out to about 8%... very very similar to the ratios in products like protekt or rino-skin but at a greatly discounted cost. Perfect for a cheap ole bastard like myself....

Dan dude what happened?
damn my brotha..im sry sir...ive heated plants to a crisp before also man..some will come back, some wont

Thanks for the positivity fellas, wont stop me by a damn sight. Im sure it coulda been worse.

Wow, thanks guys for the info, really learning new things here. I checked farming sources and nobody had any idea what I was asking for, they didn't have any products based on silica or SLF 100 enzymes. But I found some silica-based *diet* supplement (for people) so I may experiment with that and see if it strengthens the fibers and benefit yield and quality as you guys describe.
where are you? US or Abroad?
If in US just buy thru amazon or buildasoil.com if your abroad there are plenty of online sellers that would deliver to you!

I believe Diatomaceous Earth is also a source of silica
Is it useable by plants though?

I grow all naturally... "organics" is just different bottles from the hydro store these days.
I decompose my own fish into hydrolysate and make kelp pastes and such... I also recycle my soil.

i'm gonna have to start recycling soil too. i didn't realize how easy it is. and affordble, which i'm big on.

is there a tutorial on the fish bidnizz? ive always wondered how to use the heads from trout i clean..

They're a crisp lol. Every leaf on there feels like i could turn it into dust. But i dumped a bunch of plain water on em. Hopefully it helps.... If not then.... Oh well.
I never got to flower out the sfv, though I heard its nothin to write home to mom about. Still, wish i could hang onto my ghost og.... : / bummed the most on losing those genetics then anything else. Great smoke. Came out real potent and tasty. Organics : ) nom nom. The longer i cure them the better and stronger the buds become it seems like.

@NaturalTherapy thats one helluva bummer what happened. Your plants dried cause a timer malf. ....
Mine was out of two days of neglect lol. Still cant believe it happened that fast. I used to be able to water and let em sit for a week. Now, two days and i lose my whole veg space. I noticed my humidity was insanely low. Like 26%
Im gonna get my humidifier in there asap lol

best to use whole fish, and it first starts with making a lactobacillus serum.... rice wash and all that...
once you've got your lacto, you puree the fish whole or parts in a blender...
you want a beefcake 500W blender or cut the fish into chunks first...
look at your blended fish... add about 2x that much water(non chlorinated as usual - think of the microbes)
also add in about 1/3 of the fish worth in sugar(unbleached) or raw honey...
add in a couple good tablespoons of the lacto serum... like 2-3 per liter or so
again, blend this all as fine as you can. crush the bones as best you can
pour it in a container and keep it loosely covered.... a balloon on top works, but you've got to release the gas manually
I have a chamber with a waterlock and a carbon filter.
I also use it to make my own ferts from decomposing dynamic accumulator plants
(current run of "juice" but pics are from sept 11th)

Now fish takes over a month to be ready, but you know when it is cause it wont smell anymore... almost no smell at all... only vinegar-ish.. in-process its a very very strong odor.
at this point you can strain out any remaining bones or scales for the compost, put it in its final container and loosely cap it.
DO NOT COMPLETELY SEAL
wait for it until it no longer makes any bubbles then you can cap it up tight.

2tbsp/1gal - soil drench

2 different animals... literally... haha.
My recipe is for hydrolysate, which is the "good stuff" whereas fish emulsion has many of the good parts removed and is heated enough to break down significant amino acid chains...
The recipe I stated is for the best "cold processed" fish hydrolysate possible (when using whole entire fish)
It will be very good with just the heads, I can assure you.
but whole fish and this process of unheated microbial breakdown makes the best.

like farming worms and feeding them scraps and amendments instead of a commercial joint that feeds em old phone books... output is similar, but not of the same quality.

I was about to make butter with some of the trim from my outdoor stuff. What would be a fair price for it and what would be a good portion size for just the butter (not edibles)?Just wondering how they market it in the med states

I need to start making fish emulsion. I have access to tons(literally) of Atlantic menhaden (aka-pogy,fatback) A very oily fish, rich in omega-3 . They always gave my vegetable garden a boost .
