they come in so many colors that its really only when you get into looking at the direction the mouthparts face and the bends in the knees and shit that you know for sure...
basic rules:
fast moving, unable to be caught on camera easily = likely a predator
slow moving on plant = likely a pest
slow moving in leaf litter = likely a decomposer

Yes it is. I do realize the resin output will increase. The dude that lent me the light uses nothing but 315 cmh and he kills it. My ballast burnt out last night for some odd reason and I'm sick about it. This run is my most important ever and can't afford for something like this to happen. In saying that it will only be like this for 5 days. I'll have a fresh 1k in there Friday. But now I also have the 315 so obviously I'm adding the extra spectrum and actual light for the remainder of the grow. I think over the next few days I will loose but overall I will win. Time will tell.

I wonder if using the 315 cmh for the last 2 weeks of flower as suplimental to the regular hps would yield good results ? This could be a interesting experiment. I know a friend of mine swears by the 10 000k solistek finishing bulb , a 315 in my opinion would be even better. Necessity is the mother of invention right ?

It would be fine but to only run it for two weeks would be a colossal waste. It's a full term light.

If you were going to supplement some light in a 4x4 tent that has the 960w mars led reflector in it, what would you use? Would you supplement more led? mh? hps?....tent will only be used for veg....

I wouldnt but if you did id go hps as it gets the show on the road quicker . hps and led in my flower tent looks like sunlight .

I'd stay led or go with 125 watt CFL hung vertically. If all u want to do is get some light to the corners or a dark spot or two.

Hello all, and especially to @Tnelz !! I am new to the farm but have been reading with great interest the backlog of your "Whatever" thread. Love it!! Everybody here that joins in is just pretty kewl to watch and absorb their experiences!! I try to catch up whenever I can starting from page 1. When I do hit your thread, I actually have a notepad where I write down the page # where I last left off! It moves quick!!! :) Anyways, BIG props to you and all on this thread, I love it!!!

OK, now back to page # 450 for me!!

K been all social lately here,s what I've been up to .

My Alien grenade male I've been using pollen on some lady's but collecting now . Have some candy diesel on the way . Witch is alien rock candy x sweet and sour diesel . So basically be alien grenades with a little sour dub in it . I kept this male for its ability to absorb mainlining fimming and the way it rebounded good structure and a really nice pine sol smell .

Talking beans if trimming sucks , harvesting beans is worse IMO.
Came up with this idea based on gold panning . Uses a shoe box and collindar .

Real high tech , dry out and trim plants strip all buds and seeds into collindar keep box on slight backwards slope and pinch full seeds and bud on top of lid seeds roll to bottom wipe vegetable matter aside rinse and repeat . If there's a better way I'd like to know . Cause dam .
