Ok i've never grown this strain before and it's about to go into flower this week. Have been told it is an OG. It originally came from a set of 12 seeds to another grower that I know. The seeds came out of a bag of smoke from a grower of some street OG out in the ghetto of Los Angeles. My favorite place to be, anyways... so i got some cuts, vegged them out and have a set of 36 and an additional set of 36. i'm taking clones from the big ones today. But i've attached photos of the plant in both early and late veg. anybody care to chime in on the overall health of the plants? do they appear to need anything? i'm not certain about the sharpness of the leaves, but they seem to be that way in both the early and late stages.

not sure what's wrong with the pictures today. it won't let me insert them as thumbnails. second time trying so you gotta click on the link i guess. i'm no computer guy, i'm a farmer.

I don't know, either, it's a rather odd hiccup because I can see the thumbnails but no actual pix *as* thumbnails. They look FANTASTIC.

leadsled is correct they are rootmaker pots. Greatest pot invented for that stage of growth. They are even smaller than that though. 18 of them fit in a try for a humidity dome. They are what i transplant into between clone and veg. Plants spend about a week or two in this pot and typically get topped in this as well. Here are some Chemdog's that are about ready for some treatment.

looking nice toquer, I love the rootmaker. The 5 gallon hard container has done me real well! Always debating on getting those lil ones as I use the 3.5" and do the 18 to a 10"x20" method too :)

update time...
So the side by side of Humboldt Nutrients vs Aptus was ended a bit early as the Aptus ones were far superior in the early weeks of veg, I couldn't imagine seeing the girls suffer since I had seen the light... So the Humboldt Ones were switched over to Aptus. They are looking remarkable. The indica has had the bottoms removed and the clones look phenomenal to be honest. It was the first time that I had used Aptus' StartBoost as a clone dip and the Fasilitor as a foliar spray. I'm hoping to have roots sooner. I've got a great success rate, but it just takes too long.

I had some questions for the guys at Aptus regarding how to handle clones using their stuff and I have to say they were quick to respond and get me answers. I like this from a company!!

I'm starting a new side by side...again using Humboldt Nutrients vs Aptus. But this time i have to see it through. The second set that i started on Aptus have been transplanted to their flowering pot. Aptus has a base nutrient that can be mixed in the soil at transplant thus eliminating the need to water in a base nute. I like this idea as reducing things necessary to mix into water is always a nice thing. So i've got 32 of these nice OG's. Half of them have been transplanted with 100g of Aptus BaseBoost and will be going into flower at the end of May. The other half will be fed Humboldt Nutrients Oneness as a base nutrient.

I can't upload the pictures right now as they're too large i guess. Phone got an upgrade and the camera app got reset back to super large pictures and i'm too lazy to change them on the pc. i'll take more in the morning and post them then.

Whoa... I was sitting here looking at a tray of clones, then the picture disappeared. I can see text thumbnails, and when I click on them, et voila, a tray full of clones. Looking *very* good!

so i've been busy and haven't had much time for more photos. and then i took some but they're not the sexy ones that we all like to see. i didn't have my filter with me for the phone and although i've got the nexus 5, the default camera app doesn't make it easy to put the blue back in to the pictures. so none the less. here are some updated shots. the ones that i originally was doing a comparison are now in flower. they are in 9 days now. the indica still has the same odd leaf deficiency that we can't seem to figure out, but she grows through it none the less. i've taken some close up shots of those leaves specifically. i'll take some more tomorrow so that i can watch the progression of those leaves in flower now that the girl has crowned and is beginning to flower.

I remember seeing like leaf patterns on a single branch of a single plant.
This made me think it was linked to a plumbing problem in the stem.
Nice nice nice otherwise.

Just kidding, they look fantastic. :D[/quote]

I don't think so. I get those in my soil pots when they stay moist long enough, too.
